There's a little bit of Hollywood in West Michigan this week. Rapper turned actor 50 cent and his production company, Cheetah Vision Films started shooting a movie at Grand Valley State University's football stadium in Allendale this morning. GVSU grounds crews spent all day clearing snow off the field all day getting ready for the film, titled 'Love Me, Love Me Not.' Confirmation on the filming was made by Grand Valley State University officials last week.
"I think the students really enjoyed it," senior associate athletic director Lisa Sweany said. "We had a lot of kids standing around watching the (filming). I think it's pretty exciting for us. If they shoot the trailer and they get the financial backing they need (for a feature-length film), it's possible they could come back here in the future. It's a good opportunity for GVSU."
