King Magazine covergirl Tahiry Jose has taken a stab at model Somaya Reece over her recent tearful Joe Budden rant by releasing a mock video.
From Tahiry's perspective, Reece should have observed how her relationship ended with Budden last year.
"B*tch, what did you think would happen," Tahiry asked in a video recording. "No, seriously. Five years in and he does it to me, do you really think that you're lending yourself by letting somebody put the battery in your back? I'm supposed to fight everybody -- wasn't you in LA somewhere with the white folks? And now you wanna come -- you didn't go at me, not that I care because I'm fine, I just love to see how it plays and this clown show. I just love to watch how the chips just fall as they should. So again, nothing against you, you should have known better girl. At this point, it is what it is." (This Is 50)
Earlier this month, Reece addressed Budden publicly announcing their break-up.
"I wanted to make a video response of Joe Budden's accusations against me," Reece said. "I don't know what made him do what he did in that video....I tried to reach out to him because the guy I know isn't the guy in that video or at least not the one I got to know..fans are telling me this video came after a UStream. I did a UStream with my girl Gloria Velez, unfortunately, his fans from JBTV which are partially mine and his, went on my chat board and started trouble -- but we had this set up even while me and Joe were still friends and Joe never had anything bad to say about me recently...everyone out there has made him my boyfriend, we're married, I'm pregnant, I mean every type of rumor you could think of came about so this is one of the reasons why me and Joe parted ways, one of the reasons why we had to separate our brands because anything we talked about on Twitter or anywhere was taken out of context..." Speaking in a self-made video, Budden accused her of stalking.
"Because Somaya, I blocked your b*tch a**," Budden said in a video recording. "I blocked you on my Twitter and as soon as I leave a f*cking Tweet, your f*cking crazy dumb a** sends me a f*cking text. You better stop f*cking stalking me n*gga. Stop f*cking stalking my Twitter feed b*tch. That b*tch is f*cking stalking my Twitter page. That b*tch made a f*cking fake Twitter account...A**hole year is gone -- [she] pretended to be really, really, really cool -- and then after so long, she revealed her crazy Spanish colors and begin to act like a lunatic and getting out of a five year relationship, why do I want to be with anyone who is a f*cking lunatic? I just left someone who is a f*cking lunatic...I don't want any beef with motherf*cking Somaya, I don't want any beef with Gloria Velez, I don't want any beef with Tahiry, I don't want any beef with b*tches. Period. I'm off that. It's a new year, it's a new year, grow the f*ck up..." (YouTube)
Prior to their break-up, Budden protected Reece's image after being publicly taunted by rapper Fabolous.
"The sh*t she was saying, it was a joke, she was making the same exact trending topic joke that she's been making, I thought that whole sh*t was really wack, really immature, really stupid, that whole sh*t that happened on Twitter," Budden explained in a blog cast. "That sh*t really made me look at n*ggas in a different light. But it put me in a real awkward position because Fab can make a whole bunch of jokes on Twitter and everybody will laugh and think it's funny, because he's just making jokes. And that's my man, the amount of loyalty and respect that I have for Fab is outta this world. I probably have more respect for him than anybody else in rap because he helped usher me into the game. But that was some sucker sh*t -- the second that I respond -- when I say sucker sh*t, I'm honestly not talking about nothing that Fab did, I may maybe feel like he went a little too far as far as some of them jokes went, some of them jokes really weren't funny to me. I'm talking about the blatant, f*cking d*ckriding that the fans were doing -- fans are such f*cking d*ckriders -- there's a lot of backstory and no matter what I would say, it'd look like I'm defending a girl that I don't really know or it'd look like I'm getting really, really, personal because I don't know how to do anything else but be personal."
