Snoop Dogg has decided to link with FUSE TV for an exclusive interview discussing the temptation to cheat on his wife, his definition of the term "pimp" and his close-knit relationship with his kids.
The rapper will discuss his life with reporter Toure tomorrow (Wednesday Jan 5) at 8PM ET.
Fuse, Madison Square Garden's national music television network, is getting up close and personal with hip hop icon and record producer Snoop Dogg in its interview series "On The Record with Fuse." The show provides exclusive and revealing conversations with the biggest and boldest names in the industry, diving deep into the lives of the hottest artists of the moment. Viewers can catch Snoop Dogg on Wednesday, January 6th at 8pm ET. (Press Release)
When asked about the temptation to cheat, Snoop speaks on the love his family provides for him.
"When you're faced with so much temptation. It looks so good. It's like Adam and Eve, you know what I'm saying? That apple looked good to bite and once you bite it, you realize there is a snake in there. And you really don't want to deal with that, as opposed to knowing what I had at home, which was a loving woman who loved me and my kids. Who loved me and loved my kids. I wanted that feeling." (Fuse TV)
He also locks down the definition, in his terms, of the word "pimp."
"Yeah, I'm talking like really going in and getting girls to bring you back money for their services. Whether it was through athletes or entertainers or just rich guys with money who wanted to have a young girl spend an evening with them. And through my connections, I send a girl, get the money. That was my pimpin'. And I was running with real pimps and getting the understanding of pimpin'. Cause I don't do things for fake, I do it for real." (Fuse TV)
Fuse TV has been making an effort, as of late, to place more emphasis on generating a stronger hip-hop following.
Called Hip Hop Invasion, Fuse's programming will showcase rap's brightest stars from Lil Wayne to Jay-Z taking over concerts, documentaries, music videos and interviews. Kicking off tonight (November 4), Hip Hop Invasion will air 2Pac's documentary Tupac Shakur: Before I Wake at 9 pm EST, followed by Beef at 10 and Lil Wayne's World at midnight. (VIBE)
