R&B singer Robin Thicke recently discussed collaborating with Stevie Wonder for the sequel to his Sex Therapy album.
Playfully speaking with Thicke, Wonder said he had the "perfect" song for him.
"Now Robin, I'm gonna tell you something," Stevie softly said in an interview. "I wanted a song on this album right here, [Sex Therapy]. The song I was telling you about would have been perfect for that. Can we go back in time...[laughs]. Part two? Sex Therapy number two." ("The Steve Harvey Show")
Thicke, in response, promised to place the untitled track on his next album.
"We'll put it on the next one for sure," Thicke added and promised. "I know, right. No, we'll put it on the next one for sure. We're gonna keep doing it. We could do it, like [Jay-Z's] The Blueprint [series]." ("The Steve Harvey Show")
The singer's album debuted in the Top 10 upon its release last month.
R&B singer Robin Thicke's Sex Therapy also made its way onto the charts this week with a spot at No. 9. With a week under his belt, Paula Patton's husband's new album has pushed out 123,200 records to date. (SOHH Sales Wrap)
Last year, Thicke spoke on the album's overall motivation and theme.
"It's in the tradition of Marvin Gaye's Sexual Healing,'' Thicke said. "No matter where you're at -- whether you're just starting a relationship or if you've been in a relationship a long time, a little sex therapy is a good thing." (Miami Herald)
