Former Grand Hustle associate Alfamega has announced plans to release a tell-all book based on his time with T.I. and his publicized DEA scandal last year.
According to Alfa, the book is still in its early stages.
"I been writing my book though, that's all I been doing," he revealed in an interview. "It's about my life, everything that happened, giving it real, the whole scenario of what went down with the court stuff, the guy [drug dealer Ali Baager], me and Tip and everything. The name of the book is titled Displaced Loyalty and Revenge. [I've written to] about the sixth chapter." (All Hip Hop)
Last year, Alfamega addressed the claims that his song, "Round One," was a direct diss towards T.I.
"The song was recorded when I was with Grand Hustle," Alfa explained in an interview. "My mixtape was already recorded before. I been hitting people on my Twitter this morning saying only fake people feed into fake beef...I'm on a different thinking level. I'm not into rap beef. Beef gets more attention than the positive stuff. I don't wanna be put into that category of beefing with Tip, especially when he's down. I felt bad when he did what he did with me when I was in hospital chained to the hospital bed...It's just showing a different side of being lyrical. It's really like the game Fight Night...Every song has a different round. I'm not dissing nobody, man." (MTV)
The song features Alfa making a reference to the beefing former partners Jay-Z and Damon Dash.
"Get your money up, let it pile up," Alfa raps. "Every other song, I'ma switch the style up...Drop your a** like Jay did Dame Dash's/Let me cool down before I blow a head gasket/Slappin' this b*tch, put a n*gga in casket/One phone cool do a n*gga something tragic/Make your wife a widow and your son a little bastard." ("Round One")
Tip severed ties with Alfa last May when documents leaked online which suggested Alfa previously was an informant for the DEA.
"Even though all of our artists and employees are asked by us to be honest and open about their past history at no time did Alfa disclose to me or Grand Hustle what has now appeared in the media. He essentially deceived us by failing to fully disclose the truth about his past and there is no place in our organization for dishonest and misleading behavior. As I've always said, you must take responsibility for your own actions, we at Grand Hustle do not support or condone blaming others for our own mistakes. I hope and pray to god bless his financial plans but I do not foresee me or my company playing the role of his personal or professional business." (File Factory)
