News: Soulja Boy & Nicki Minaj Co-Sign Gucci Mane's "State" LP, "His Album Is Going HARD!"

Rappers Soulja Boy Tell Em and Nicki Minaj have shared their approval of incarcerated rapper Gucci Mane's State Vs. Radric Davis album by calling the solo project a "must-have."
Writing via Twitter, Soulja Boy also said he has spoken with the Southern rapper since being place behind bars last month.
"Just got off the phone wit my dog Gucci," Soulja Boy wrote Wednesday (December 2)."umma go visit him soon. His album going HARD! make sure u cop it dec8 I'm on it! Burr." (Soulja Boy Tell Em's Twitter)
After listening to the unreleased album, Nicki also said the solo project was needed in everyone's collection.
"Jus listened to Gucci's album...INSANE...'The State vs Radric Davis' drops Decemburrr 8th. A MUST have.," she wrote on her daily Twitter page. (Nicki Minaj's Twitter)
The album features a wide variety of guest appearances from both Southern and West Coast artists.
Waka and Soulja Boy Tell'em appear on a track called "Bingo," while Wayne and Cam'ron show up on "Stupid Wild." Weezy also checks in on the remix of "Wasted," as do Jadakiss and the Birdman. Keyshia Cole lends her soulful crooning to "Bad Bad Bad" while Bun B, Devin the Dude and E-40 help out on the track with the zaniest title, "Kush Is My Cologne." Other guests include Rick Ross and actor Mike Epps. Producers Polow Da Don, Zaytoven and Bangladesh all crafted beats. (MTV)
Gucci, currently serving time for a parole violation, recently gave his first statement from behind bars.
"I have accepted full responsibility for my actions and I am ready to deal with what is in front of me right now," wrote Gucci. "Thankfully, my label is still moving forward with my album release so I will have plenty to look forward to when I get out. I am remaining positive and want my fans to know that I am grateful for their loyalty and continued support. I will get through this." (XXL Mag)
