Rap newcomer Kid Cudi has addressed Internet impostors taking on his name and promised to relaunch his own personal website to make official announcements.

Writing via a statement, Cudi discussed where fans could currently keep up with him.

"what up yall? Ive been hearing theres a lot of fake kid cudi accounts on twitter and facebook and i want to reassure everyone that none of these r me. i will NEVER get back on twitter or facebook. im gettin my blog back together and that will be the only way to stay connected with me. i think its sad as a m*thafucka people do this but, oh well, its inevitable. dont fall for it, if or doesnt make a announcement (and i assure you they wont) then its some creeper lookin for attention. catch me on tour baybayyyyy. peace n love" (Dat New Cudi)

Despite the popularity of Twitter among the rap community including Diddy and Fabolous, Cudi vouched to dead his personal account earlier this fall.

"I have an iPhone and I don't even utilize all of the applications on it," Cudi explained. "Just alone on an iPhone you can have multiple e-mails -- I have two e-mails -- text messaging, some people have AIM on there, MySpace, Facebook -- and I don't even have those things...With Twitter, my two e-mails, text messaging, and my phone ringing, that's just overwhelming. And you gotta think of it like this, what did they do before there were cell phones? Use a pay phone or write a letter. Or you catch 'em at the crib....I think I want to take it back to that. Sometimes it just shouldn't be that easy for you to get in contact with me." (Rap-Up)

Cudi previously used his blog to address being arrested at a Reebok party last February.

"I was tasered (sh*t hurt like a muthaf*cka), I was not arrested," Cudi wrote in his blog. "I left in my car service immediately after the incident took place. I didn't put my hands on anyone...It wasn't over me wearing Jordans; I arrived at the event in the most fugliest Reeboks ever, forcefully...For those who care I'm okay. I appreciate your concern...As far as what really happened, I know the truth and God knows the truth and my peoples who were there know the truth and thats all that matters." (Kid Cudi)

Kanye West previously revealed the hired staff he uses for his popular daily blog.

"I might [blog for] two hours in a day, it might be fifteen minutes in a day," Ye said in an interview. "I have two people that I hired and I tell them exactly what I want -- it's just like how a designer would work. I tell them, you know, Surface Magazine, Wallpaper, Architectural Digest, Hypebeast, Bossip, go to these different blogs and keep on pulling information. And then they send it to me, and I get like 80 e-mails, and I have to check and go through them. And sometimes I'll have my own stuff where I'll just be in a cool place, like if I had my camera right now, I'd like photograph this stuff and go home and be really excited to blog it."
