Former G-Unit member Game has opened up about his perception of 50 Cent's Before I Self Destruct first-week record sales.

While referencing his recent "F*ck Suge Knight" freestyle, Game spoke on not name-dropping Fif.

"I don't apologize for sh*t, all I did was a freestyle," he explained in an interview. "If anybody takes it to the heart like they gotta do something about it, then just do that...D*mn, did I say something about everyone but 50? F*ck. I am almost done with 50 Cent shots, I mean at this point, he is shooting himself. I mean for a guy to sell 10 million records his first time out and then to come back out and do 160,000 in the first week three albums later is a catastrophe. I really feel for him at this point. If he needs my help, then I will help him out and say his name a couple more times to help him float. I really feel bad about his first week, and I just want him to feel better about himself. Tell 50, there's always the next album." (All Hip Hop)

The Black Wall Street leader also vouched for 50's album via Twitter last month.

"& if you REALLY wanna know the truth : to me, 50 album wasn't that bad.....," Game wrote via Twitter on Wednesday (November 25). "I contributed to that 161,000 ... Karma is just a B-*-T-C-H." (Game's Twitter)

50's fourth solo project lost the top spot to singer John Mayer who sold 285,700 records in his first week debut.

50 Cent's highly-anticipated Before I Self Destruct debuted on the charts this week landing at No. 5. After a solid seven days in stores plus sales from iTunes, 50's new album has moved 161,200 copies. (Sales Wrap)

Game recently discussed destroying the G-Unit brand when he left the group in 2005.

"[50] said recently in an interview that he'll never work with Game again but that's all him talking and his ego. I can't wait to mend the ties with Eminem. Me and Eminem had never been at odds but he had to take 50's side...I killed G-Unit. I killed the clothes, I killed the brand, I killed Tony Ya-Yo, Banks and Buck at that time. Like I really f*cked up a lot of money for that dude. Not only for him but my label, Jimmy Iovine, who at this point, I'm apologetic to." (Complex)
