Busta Rhymes has begun to build anticipation for his new film, Breaking Point, by calling the movie "incredible" and announcing its release this Friday (December 4).

Writing via Twitter, Bussa Buss shared his thoughts on the film.

"New movie "The Breaking Point" in theatres Dec.4th...This Friday!!!Starring Armand Assante, Tom Berringer and myself!!!F*cking incredible!!!," he wrote Thursday (December 3). "Once again my new movie will b in theatres Dec.4th called "THE BREAKING POINT" starring Armand Assante, Tom Berringer, and myself..KRAZZZZY! Real talk I just wanna salute all a my twitter family on the check in 2night.I'm excited cause I just left a premier 4 my new movie 2night!! The name of th movie once again is called "THE BREAKING POINT" starring Armand Assante, Tom Berringer and myself!!!!Sh*t is KRAZZY, TRUST!!" (Busta Rhymes' Twitter)

The film will also co-star rapper Sticky Fingaz.

Steven Luisi (Berenger), plays a disgraced former assistant district attorney and recovering addict seeking redemption by defending an accused murderer. Luisi's path to clearing his client's name leads him to a dangerous thug (rapper Busta Rhymes) and the crime's sole witness (Kirk "Sticky Fingaz" Jones), who is also the thug's onetime henchman and latest target. Corrupt public officials, ghetto kids dreaming of a better life, a flawed hero with a dead daughter on his conscience. (Village Voice)

While the movie is set to hit theaters tomorrow, it will reportedly land on DVD next month.

Busta is used as the central focus though on all marketing material including the trailer and poster. While the movie will technically be shown in theaters December 4th (six total theaters in the U.S.), it's just to fill contractual terms as the movie will go directly to DVD after for a January 12th release. Aside from films, Busta recently touched on the motivation behind his upcoming album, The Chemo.

"I called the album The Chemo because it seems like the industry and music overall is dying slowly," Busta explained in an interview. "The cancer that's stricken the business is killing the music, not only from a business standpoint, but also the value of the content and the creativity behind it. I just want to start the first stage of chemotherapy treatment that needs to take place and hopefully inspire others to do their part and contribute to different stages of the cure." Still, Busta recognizes those artists who are taking a stand against the "dying industry" by putting out "great music," stating, "Jay-Z put out an incredible album this year and Lil Wayne put out an incredible album last year." Others he commends include Jadakiss, Drake and Trey Songz. (Billboard)
