Rapper Bow Wow and actress Taraji P. Henson have shared mixed reactions to seeing their delayed Hurricane Season film, which co-stars Lil Wayne, leak online earlier this week.

Writing via Twitter page throughout the week, Henson displayed her followers' reactions to the movie.

"RT@ebmj21 Just finish watching hurricane season with @bowwow614 n @therealtaraji!! Great Movie!!," she wrote via Twitter this week. "RT@shukiris @man whats up with those studios? Talk 2 me n hurricane season are must see films. Luvd u n both of em.<<Taraji P. Henson's Twitter)

However, Bow Wow was shocked to learn that the movie leaked online.

"@TherealTaraji im so mad how they did us in hurricane.," he wrote Tuesday (December 15) night. "not letting us know what they was gone do. and then next thing its all over the net." (Bow Wow's Twitter)

The film leaked across the Internet last weekend.

Earlier today (December 13), the movie which Lil Wayne, Bow Wow and Forest Whitaker all star in - Hurricane Season leaked to the internet. Unfortunately the movie is going to straight to DVD and will not be in the theaters, but MWP has captured just Weezy's and Bow Weezy's parts in the film so you can all watch. (Lil Wayne HQ)

While an exact release date was never announced, the film was speculated to come out in 2010.

The Weinstein Company initially developed and was set to distribute Hurricane Season starring Bow Wow and Lil Wayne to give the studio a formidable 1-2-punch in the urban film genre. Unfortunately, as we previously reported, The Weinsteins ran into financial difficulty and were forced to shelve a majority of their 2009 slate because they wouldn't be able to afford the distribution and marketing costs. And what about Bow Wow and Lil Wayne's fate in Hurricane Season? Because of the storyline which is more drama and the legit star power which includes Academy Award Winner Forest Whitaker, The Weinstein Company has decided to hold on to the picture and still hopes to release it in theaters. At this time no date is set though. (Wooha News)
