Rick Ross recently updated fans on the status of his upcoming joint The H album alongside Birdman and said fans could expect to see a movie accompany the project.
While keeping details scarce, the "Boss" said filming would take place next month.
"We gonna let that [album] go next year," Ross promised in an interview. "The whole concept behind it was we wanted to do different so and do a movie. Taking the movie process is a whole lot longer than the music, so we've just been leaking records here now just to let 'em know it's coming. But we actually start filming at the very end of this year." (Hip Hop Official)
Baby previously said the album was completed.
Plans are still on the table for a Birdman and Rick Ross album. The rappers' collaborative effort is in the bag and just waiting a release date. "Ross and I finished the album already. It's called The H," Birdman revealed to Rap-Up.com. "We'll probably put it out in the summer." The Cash Money Records CEO has a lot of admiration for his fellow paper chaser, who's currently promoting his group Triple C's debut Custom Cars & Cycles. "I respect Ross. He gets money and his music is hot." (Rap-Up)
Ross initially hinted at the possibility of dropping a joint project with Baby.
"[Me and Birdman] have so much music already recorded," Ross said in an interview earlier this year, "so anytime he in the studio in Miami I come through and we stay working. We gonna handle the business on that real soon so that will be coming." (Wild 101.1)
He also has said the Cash Money Records boss gives him a street feeling.
"When I hear Birdman rapping, it's a feeling I used to get when I'm in the streets that you could only get from that big homie that was making money," Ross said in an interview over the summer. "That's the feeling I get when I hear Birdman." (MTV)
