Timbaland will no longer go head-to-head against 50 Cent and Birdman as his new album Shock Value 2 has reportedly been pushed back to December.

The new release date will now have him going up against rappers Snoop Dogg, Game and Gucci Mane.

Super Monday is about to become a little less crowded. Timbaland's Shock Value II has been pushed back from November 23 to December. The sequel to 2007's Shock Value was previously set to go up against Rihanna's Rated R, Lady Gaga's The Fame Monster, 50 Cent's Before I Self Destruct, and Shakira's She Wolf, among others, on the same day. It will now be released on December 8, has learned, facing competition from Gucci Mane, Robin Thicke, Snoop Dogg, Usher and more. (Rap-Up)

Tim has reportedly recruited various rap stars for the album.

I mentioned that what I was hearing is greater than the stuff on BP3, and he said "of course I'm not going to give Jay my best material." He wasn't joking...So here are some exclusives of who will be on the Shock Value 2: Estelle, Danja, Keri Hilson, Jonas Bros, Daughtry, Hollywood Undead, Jim Beanz, Amar, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Usher, Chris Brown, Missy Elliot, Drake, Pharrell, Sebastian. Reports of Timbo working on the follow-up to his 2007 Shock Value album landed online earlier this year.

Timbland is coming out with a new album, and - once again - the record is brimming with some A-list superstars! Shock Value: Volume 2, the follow-up to his 2007 release, is due in stores February 14th, and once again features his frequent collaborator Justin Timberdouche. J.T. sings on the album's lead single, "Meltdown," alongside Gwen Stefani. The song will be released to radio on January 5th, so expect it to leak on the Internets shortly before then. Despite various claims which also said Usher would appear on the disc, the producer previously gave SOHH a statement denying the early reports.

"Man, I'm so in demand that people are making up albums just to try and keep up with me. What people are reading out there is nonsense. I'm only just starting to think about Shock Value 2, just recording and putting some ideas together, so there are definitely no song titles, release date, or any other news related to the album. When Shock Value 2 does finally exists in the real world, everybody's gonna hear about it from me." (Interscope Records/Mosley Music Group)
