The Clipse's Malice has announced plans to take his pen game to book stores with the upcoming release of Wretched, Pitiful, Poor, Blind and Naked.

According to Malice, the book should hit shelves by the end of 2009.

"People know what the Clipse content is about -- what we've been talking about over the years," he said about the project. "But we like to paint both sides of the picture and give you the pros and the cons and just to let you know that it's not all glorious and sometimes you lose. The intention is to have the book out at the top of the year, after the album. We're speaking with a few people now but it's gonna be major publishing. It's an awesome book that's nothing short of phenomenal. It gives you an inside look of the Clipse, the industry, the things that we've been through and a very personal look at my private life." Q-Tip has also decided to ink a tell-all book called Industry Rules which will reflect his rap career including his falling out with A Tribe Called Quest.

He has signed on the dotted line with Ballantine Books for an unexpected memoir. Titled Industry Rules, Q-Tip is expected to carefully construct his life story that includes growing up in Queens, his rise and fall with A Tribe Called Quest and subsequent solo success thereafter. The book, also in cooperation Random House Publishing Group, which owns Ballatine Books, was sold recently and according to a release is "a creatively constructed telling of his life story". Other rappers have begun making book deals including Jay-Z who recently confirmed signing a three-release deal.

"Yeah, the other two books though, you know I had to sign that deal," Hov confirmed in an interview. "I've done the deal to do a book and the name of it is called Decoded. It's called Decoded because I'm going to decode all the lyrics from my records. I'm gonna pick the select ones, all the double entendres and things that people may have missed or may have gotten but want confirmation on it. That's what the book is about, it's called Decoded." Malice is also following in Styles P's footsteps as he preps the release of his own book.

"I also got a fiction book coming out," Styles confirmed in an interview last spring. "A fiction novel called Mr. Invincible. That'll be in a couple months, so go support that. I'm getting my author up. I just wanted to make sure I'm comfortable and got a few things I could do that I enjoy doing. I'm a creative person and I like creating. So I just wanted another job where I could create and make some money and doing something that I like to do." (Forbez DVD)
