Country singer Taylor Swift has hinted at plans to poke fun at her recent run-in with Kanye West when she hosts "Saturday Night Live" next month.
While she has not yet confirmed whether a Yeezy skit would make the final cut, the singer suggested that she would place focus on some "hilarious" incidents she has encountered as of late.
Taylor Swift is hosting "Saturday Night Live" Nov. 7 -- two months after the rapper brazenly interrupted her at the MTV Video Music Awards, claiming that Beyonce deserved to win best female video. "I've been thinking about skit ideas for a long time," Swift, 19, says of her SNL stint. "There are definitely some hilarious things that have happened to me over the past couple of months that I think will be pretty substantial skits...I've been such a fan for a long time, but I've gone back and re-watched everything over the past couple of months and digital shorts would be so much fun to do, because they've been done so well." Various sites have suggested Ye has made a move to India as a result of last month's publicized incident.
Rumor has it Kanye West is off to India to clear his mind. Just last week he canceled his ambitious "Fame Kills" tour with Lady Gaga. Now the troubled rapper has reportedly booked a month at Hindu guru Sri Aurobindo's ashram in Pondicherry, India. (Prefix Mag)
According to Beyonce, she understood why Kanye took a controversial stance during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech.
"Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he's like, 'You have this award,'" Beyonce explained. "And when they didn't call my name he was, like, completely shocked. And when he walked on the stage, I was like, 'No, no, no!' and then he spoke, and I was like, 'Oh, no, no, no!' ... But in the end, it ended up being a great night, and Taylor Swift did get her moment -- and I didn't have to make an acceptance speech." (Billboard)
Memphis Bleek also said Ye should take a break from the music scene.
"It was a little outta line, but then again, that's Kanye," Bleek explained in an interview with radio personality Tim Westwood. "You gotta expect that from him. I don't think he got issues, he never really took the time to deal with the problems in his life. This is his way of venting, like, some people, they lose a lot and a lot of tragic things happen in they life and they spiral outta control and go crazy. I think he realized the breaking point. If you heard his speech on Jay Leno's show, he realized, 'Yo, I need to take some time off and really chill out.' And I felt him, that's real talk, he really do. He's been constantly working for five years straight." (Tim Westwood TV)
