The mother of Lil Wayne's first child, Antonia "Toya" Carter, recently spoke on her relationship with the self-proclaimed "Greatest Rapper Alive" and weighed in on his multiple children.
Sharing one daughter together, Reginae, Toya said the couple still maintain a non-conflicting relationship.
"We talk," she said in an interview. "We have a great relationship. He's a great father. He tells [our daughter] about [his other kids], so I just go along with the flow. I'm good with all of [his children's mothers]. I try to keep the kids cool because they're all in the same situation, so we don't have time for any drama." (E! Online)
Their daughter was reportedly responsible for a group of under-aged friends dancing to Wayne and Drake's "Best I Ever Had" performance at last summer's BET Awards 2009 ceremony.
According to my source, what happened was Wayne's daughter Reginae, 9, was upset that she didn't get the chance to accompany her father, Lil Wayne, to the stage to accept his award because she was sitting too far back in the audience. Once backstage, the youngster began to cry. And Wayne, who they say is a great dad, hated to see his little girl cry. So he told Reginae she could come out onstage during his performance with Drake. Reginae, being the team player that she is, asked the other members of her group to go out on stage with her. (Sandra Rose)
Wayne recently confirmed reports of R&B singer Nivea being pregnant with his third son and their first child together.
Wayne did not provide many details about the impending birth in the BBC interview. "Two girls pregnant at the same time?" radio personality Tim Westwood said. "Congratulations." Wayne responded "Three," before clarifying his remark for Westwood, who thought the rapper meant he'd gotten three women pregnant at the same time. "I mean [I'll have] three sons," he explained. When Wayne was asked if Nivea was expecting, he responded "yessir." (MTV)
He had a child with actress Lauren London last month.
In an exclusive statement to HipHollywood.com, Actress Lauren London confirmed the birth of her baby boy on Wednesday (September 9). According to Lauren London's publicist, Jocelyn R. Coleman of Favor PR, "Lauren London and Dwayne Carter welcomed their healthy baby boy into the world on 09-09-09. Everyone is happy and well." (Hip Hollywood)
