50 Cent recently spoke on the status of his "Baby By Me" music video with Kelly Rowland and Ne-Yo and promised the acting would surprise fans.

Fif also revealed his decision to link with video director Chris Robinson for the production.

"This video is great," 50 said in an interview. "Chris Robinson came up with a great treatment for it. It's obvious I wasn't in a hurry to make the music video until I found the right treatment, the right idea, to bring it to life. I had to find the right person to be my love interest in the music video. I found Kelly. It matches perfectly. The acting in the project is great. I think when people see it, they are gonna be surprised by it. Because of the technology there is no secret. Right after we shot, I went in the trailer and looked on the computer and saw pictures on Twitter. Everybody will get to see it and enjoy it in its entirety when it's done." (MTV)

Photos of both Rowland and 50 landed online late last week.

Getting cozy in what could be deemed an unexpected pairing, Kelly Rowland and 50 Cent linked up for a video shoot recently. While they're not dating, Rowland does appear as the leading lady in the rapper's "Baby By Me" music video. The new lead single from 50's Before I Self Destruct features Ne-Yo and is swiftly moving up the R&B/ Hip Hop songs chart. No word on when the video will premiere... although it should be soon. Featured as his Before I Self Destruct single, Fif recently shared his thoughts on dropping the same day as Rihanna and Lady Gaga next month.

"I guess I should be devastated that I'm up against Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears?" 50 said in an interview. "This is a great competition, you mean to tell me I get the chance to go into a battle against pop singers? I don't see myself in competition with artists that aren't even in the same genre. Could you find a rapper for me to compete with please? Now I gotta fight Justin? I'm gonna fight him and kick his a**!" (The Canadian Press)

Fif will also face-off against Birdman and Timbaland when their albums drop next month.

Universal Music Group is serving up a plentiful feast for Thanksgiving week. Some of the biggest names in music will all release their high-profile albums on the Monday before the holiday. The recording giant has moved up the majority of its November 24 releases by one day to Monday, November 23, a day before the traditional Tuesday release. The shift extends across the Universal umbrella, including Interscope Geffen A&M, Universal Motown/Republic, and Island Def Jam. The new date will take advantage of the start of the holiday shopping season when customers flock to stores to stock up on gifts. 50 Cent's Before I Self Destruct, Rihanna's new album, Timbaland's Shock Value 2, Lady Gaga's The Fame Monster, Jay Sean's All or Nothing and Birdman's Pricele$$ will all drop on the same day.
