After previously calling Eminem a "honkey" Rick Ross placed his past differences with the rapper aside and praised him for his verse on "Forever" which also featured Lil Wayne, Kanye West and Drake.

The "Boss" also shared his opinion of Em's recent "Warning" diss towards Mariah Carey.

"He's smart," Ross said about Eminem not addressing him and avoiding a rhyme battle. "That's what I'm waiting for. That'll be a gift -- a great Christmas present for me. But y'all know what I think. I think everybody knows. It's all 'hood, man. Shout-out to Mariah Carey, she needs to reach out to me. We could eradicate some things...On a better note, I wanna shout out Eminem. I heard a record he did with Cash Money's own Lil Wayne and Drake and Kanye West. Eminem, you're smart. I understand -- we all know what you doing now. You're moving on to better things. Like I said, he might wanna do a record with me. We here. Triple C's." (MTV)

Ross previously made headlines for labeling Em a "honkey" in an interview last April.

"N*ggas cut throat," he declared in an interview. "You know now they saying 'monkey' could be black-on-black racial, keep saying monkey. So the only way I can fix that, Eminem, you're a monkey. He's really a honkey, but that's racial. You's a monkey, you n*ggas monkeys...'Wood Face,' it's no longer Curly, now you're Wood Face. Eh, Whoo Kid, I found out you're making 300 a show, my deejay makes way more than you. You're nobody. Do me the biggest favor, hit me up." (Spiff TV)

"Forever" producer Boi-1da also shared his reaction to the star-studded record last month.

"Honestly I'm gonna have to be biased and say Drake [had the best verse.]," he explained. "Really it's between Drake and Eminem. I've never seen anybody hold up on a song with Eminem, like usually Eminem blows out. Drake's my dude, and he's my favorite rapper, but knowing Eminem I thought he was gonna blow by everybody, but Drake came strong. It's like a toss up. And like that's never been done before, I never heard a toss up between Eminem, it's always just Eminem cause he's a monster." (XXLMag)

Em finished the track after verses by Yeezy and Weezy.

"There they go, packin' stadiums as Shady spits his flow/Nuts they go, macademia, and they go so ballistic, whoa/He can make them look like bozos, he's wonderin' if he should spit this slow/F*ck no, don't provoke, his cup just runneth over, oh, no/He ain't had it with bars like this since the last time that he overdosed/They been waitin' patiently for Pinocchio to poke his nose/Back into the game and they know rap'll never be the same as before/Bashin' in the brains of these hos, and establishin' a name as he goes/The passion and the flame is ignited, you can't put it out once we light it/This sh*t is exactly what the f*ck that I'm talkin' about when we riot/You dealin' with a few true villains who stand inside of the booth true spillin' And spit true feelings until them two feelings come flyin' up out of our months, then rewind it/Payback, motherf*cker, for the way you got at me, how's it taste?/I'ma slap the taste out of your mouths with the bass so loud that it shakes the place/I'm Hannibal Lecter, soldiers, in case you're thinkin' of saving face/You ain't gonna have no face to save by the time I'm through with this, play some Drake."
