CNN's N.O.R.E. recently spoke about S.O.R.E. (Still On The Run Eating), a collection of his songs, that he claims SMC Recordings released without his permission.

According to N-O-R-E, he is also in the process of putting together his own solo project.

"I just want the message to be out there, I want the people to know that S.O.R.E. album, that album that's out in stores, I have absolutely nothing to do with," he explained in a self-made video. "Out of those songs, only five of those songs were actually handed in, the rest were just pulled off the Internet. That artwork is horrible. The artwork is of me at 310 pounds, I lost 62 pounds, why the f*ck would I approve of something like that? And not only that, they putting out records that were recorded in 2007. If you listen to that T-Pain record that's on the album, it's 2007, things are different. So, I just really wanted to get it out, let the people know what it is...I ain't approve that, that's not me, I had nothing to do with that. There's no clearances, there's no papework. Just threw out an album, the label must be going through natural crisis, I don't know...The real, N.O.R.E. Part II is being made as we speak. It's coming soon...I don't care what that sh*t sells, I don't give a f*ck because I have nothing to do with it. So y'all just bare with me..." (NORE TV)

Speaking in an interview during his Birthday Bash earlier this month, he also broke the news about his feelings towards the project.

"Do not buy that album coming out on Tuesday," NORE said in an interview. "F*ck that sh*t! That's not my real album, f*ck that. That's not it, I'll announce it on the Internet or let people know, but that's not it." (SOBE Live)

The compilation album has 14 cuts and special guest appearances.

Tracklisting: 1. Take Ya Face Off 2. Get It In (Say What) 3. Move 4. My Girl Gangsta 5. Good Day 6. Set Trip 7. By Myself 8. On & On 9. Shorty Look Good 10. Phone Call 2 Heaven 11. Nore previously took to his personal blog to share a fear of releasing his upcoming album and to explain the difficulties with finding a suitable record label.

"I sometimes think what's up wit this music business," Nore wrote unmodified. "I'm glad to be able to survive in such a terrible genre!!! I love making music for fans I love seeing someone and they say I love that record, album or mixtape!!! It's the best feeling n the world!!! But the worst feeling in the world is when you make a hit record that you know is a hit and nobody hears it or you drop an album nobody knows it's out!!! There's nothing worst in the world then going through that!!!! I just made the dopeest album of my career!!! And I'm honestly scared to let it out!!! Why now should I due so? I need the belief in a record label that I just don't have right now!!! It's very scary!!! Bare with me as I figure it out!!! I need a change, a reinvention, something I will figure it out!!!!
