After a summer filled with legal disputes and child support conflicts, Nas and Kelis have been spotted attending various events together in New York City.

Def Jam co-founder Russell Simmons broke the news by displaying a photo of the estranged couple on his blog.

"I'm happy Kelis is out with the baby and Nas," Russell wrote Tuesday (September 15) evening. "It made my heart happy! I know I speak for all GG when I say we wish them only happiness. -Russell Simmons" (Global Grind)

Additional photos of the couple landed online late Tuesday night.

Kelis and her estranged hubby Nas hit up the opening gala at the Hair Rules New York Salon last night -- together: So much for all that shade they were throwing at each other just a month ago. They were looking pretty couply and posing for pics and laughing and carrying on. We reported yesterday that the two hit up a party at Marquee the other night as well. Looks like Mr. and Mrs. Jones just may be back on... (The YBF)

A legal document hit the net last month which exposed Nas' financial records as his estranged wife Kelis asked for over $281,000 in support.

According to docs filed by Kelis' lawyer, disso queen Laura Wasser, the financial wizards have reviewed the earning of both parties to the divorce, and they've come to these conclusions:

-- Nas pulls in $244,826 a month -- Kelis rakes in a relatively paltry $13,744 a month -- Kelis should get child support totaling $17,225 a month -- Kelis should get spousal support totaling $72,728 -- Nas should pay retro child support totaling $29,522 -- Nas should pay retro spousal support totaling $281,571 (TMZ)

A judge ruled against Nas in July and said he would have to pay over $40,000 to Kelis in spousal and child support expenses.

A day after welcoming a baby boy, the "Milkshake" singer, 29, was awarded nearly $44,000 in monthly support from her ex Nas at a hearing. He initially asked a court to deny Kelis any spousal support and then proposed paying Kelis a one-time payment of $20,000 until the judge could settle on an appropriate spousal and child support amount at a later hearing. But on Thursday, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Louis Meisinger rejected the offer, stating that new mom Kelis needed more money per month to accommodate her new lifestyle. (Us Magazine)
