Rap newcomer Kid Cudi recently lashed out against his Universal Motown record label after informing fans of his debut, Man on the Moon, having spelling errors.

Writing via Twitter, Cudi expressed his discontent and surprise with the project's presentation.

"Rediculous.," he wrote over the weekend. "loaded my album in my itunes only to discover there r typos in my song titles. MAJOR FAIL on somebodies behalf at MOTOWN. im jus thinkin in my head, like, this is unheard of foreal. this has never happened in the history of music. EVER!" (Kid Cudi's Twitter)

Cudi reportedly linked with Swizz Beatz, Just Blaze, Ryan Leslie and more for his debut.

Cudi currently has been in the studio with Travis Barker, Ryan Leslie, will.i.am, Swizz Beatz and Just Blaze in a bid to finish his debut album. Cudi's project will likely feature production from labelhead boss Kanye West. The record, which will include hit single "Day 'N' Nite", is said to be put forward for purchase across America fall 2009. (Ace Showbiz)

The rapper officially signed to Universal Motown last spring, joining forces with labelmates Lil Wayne and Drake.

"Kid Cudi is at the vanguard of a game-changing new generation of artists," Universal Motown President Sylvia Rhone said in a statement. "He crosses musical boundaries with an appeal that goes beyond genre, format, race, language, and culture. Cudi lives easily in the hip-hop, indie rock, pop, and R&B worlds...He is a breath of fresh air - a dynamic and important new voice, not only in the next phase of hip-hop, but as a groundbreaking trendsetter who represents the future. I am thrilled to welcome Kid Cudi into the Universal Motown family." (Statement)

He recently spoke with SOHH about his relationship with Lil Wayne and not being able to attend the rapper's make-up UK dates next month.

"I've yet to have a solid conversation with Wayne," Cudi explained. "The times I've met Wayne, I've been like a fan to Lil Wayne, like handshake, keep it moving type of thing. Every time I met him, it wasn't a circumstance where I could chop it up with him. So I've never really had the chance to introduce myself so I was excited about those European shows but you know, he had his situation and actually, he seems better now and re-scheduled. But my schedule was kinda crazy by the time he got to reschedule so I wasn't able to get on the same bill to do those shows but I really plan on working with Wayne, hopefully, we can get some shows together or something. I'm gonna be in New York shooting the HBO show [while he's in the UK.] (SOHH)
