News: J.Cole & N.E.R.D. Roc Out W/ Jay-Z, Added To"Blueprint 3" North American Tour

Jay-Z has enlisted rap newcomer J. Cole and Pharrell Williams' N.E.R.D. crew to join his nationwide The Blueprint 3 promo tour set to begin next month.

Originally slated to be a 21-date run, the tour has now added three additional stops.

Hip-hop star Jay-Z says N.E.R.D, Wale and J.Cole are to join him throughout his upcoming North American concert tour. The Live Nation-produced tour is scheduled to make 24 stops at a mix of college campus arenas and traditional venues across North America, starting at Penn State University Oct. 9. Wale recently confirmed reports of being chosen by Jay-Z to headline the rap mogul's tour and said, as a result, his debut album Attention: Deficit has been pushed back.

"It got pushed back because I'm going on tour with the biggest rapper of all-time," he explained in an interview. "I'll let y'all call it, but I'm opening up for him -- the boss. College kids like what we do, so we gonna make sure the college kids is happy." (Rap-Up)

Jay's tour, in support of The Blueprint 3, will kick-off in early October.

A multiple Grammy Award winner and influencer that has resonated with a generation of music fans, is officially announcing his fall tour. With 21 dates confirmed, the tour will make stops at a mix of college campus arenas and traditional venues across the North America starting at Penn State University on October 9th. Hov, J. Cole, Wale and N.E.R.D. will hit a variety of well-known cities including Seattle, Washington and Cincinnati, Ohio.

National highlights include an October 17 show at Key Arena in Seattle, WA, and a November 7 engagement at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA. North of the border, Jay-Z will stop for gigs on October 16 at General Motors Place in Vancouver, BC, and October 30 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, QC, among other dates. (Ticket News)
