Jay-Z recently spoke on his relationship with State Property's Peedi Crakk and said despite the rapper's past disses, he has no intent on addressing the former Roc-A-Fella artist.
Speaking with radio personality Angie Martinez, Hov also gave updates on ex-Roc artists Beanie Sigel, Freeway and Young Chris.
"I speak to Chris often," Jay revealed in the interview. "Freeway as well. I spoke to Beans when his grandma passed, we had a conversation. I don't speak to Peedi at all 'cause he's a psycho -- no, he's a psycho. That's what I truly believe. Not trying to be funny or anything." (Hot 97)
Hov also addressed helping put on his Roc-A-Fella artists while speaking with Funkmaster Flex earlier this week.
"It's difficult because I've done so much for them," Jay explained. "I gave everybody a shot. Everybody got a chance to sit at the table and make something. So whether you parlayed that into something or let that go away -- You know, that's pretty much on you. So if I'm not doing anything tomorrow or the next day, you should be cool with that." Peedi previously spoke with SOHH about his stance towards Jay.
"He's a real disrespectful dude," Peedi said in an interview last year. "I been watching hi for a long time, I see the way he does business. I think he was intimidated by me. I have real leadership qualities and I don't like to be told what to do -- he put [Beans and Freeway's] albums out with no promotion, no nothing. He had no interest. I'm happy he didn't put my sh*t out." (SOHH)
He initially announced plans to drop Camel Face Hunting Season last summer.
"Yup, I'm back," he said last summer. "And I feel unstoppable. My flow is advanced and as an artist, I’m getting better, especially without the claws of Roc-A-Fella digging at my back. I've been a free agent for the past 3 months and now signing with the Amalgam Digital label for my first project I feel even more unstoppable. They are providing exactly what Peedi always needed...proper promotion and distribution. BANG! It’s Camel Face Hunting Season." (Rap Search)
