Fabolous has announced plans to hit the road this fall and unveil a stream of new music videos in support for his latest album, Loso's Way.
Fab also revealed the next single from his album.
"I'm about to be touring in a minute, I got a lot of tour dates to do," he said in an interview. "I'm gonna be doing some touring in November. We're still working the kinks of that out. Look out there for that. The next single right now that we let go is with Keri Hilson called 'EveryDay, Everything, Everywhere.' From there I'm not sure which one we're going to do. We got a lot of videos that we got on deck that we wanna do because the videos help explain the theme of the album. So we wanna continue to keep giving viral visuals and have everybody buy into the product." (Hip Hip Wired)
Fab previously announced his partnership with Reebok for a line of concerts.
Fabolous, in partnership with Cornerstone Promotion and Foot Locker, will kick-off the series as the first one hundred fans in each city will be able to "buy a pair, get a pair" -- receiving a pair of tickets to a first-of-its-kind, exclusive, intimate Fabolous performance. Fabolous will personally meet with fans at Foot Locker locations throughout the US to promote Reebok's Classic Remix footwear collection and the Classic Remix Concert Series. Cities include, New York City, New York (August 24, 2009), New Orleans, Louisiana (August 26, 2009), Miami, Florida (August 28, 2009), Houston, Texas (September 1, 2009), and Atlanta, Georgia (September 3, 2009). He also spoke with SOHH about turning down the opportunity to tour with Rick Ross and Juelz Santana earlier this summer.
"The thing with the Rick Ross tour, I think it was like a two-week run and I felt like I just wanted to go a different way," Fab explained. "I didn't really want to do an arena tour or any kind of mixture of that. I wanna do something more intimate, you know, House of Blues type of setting , theater kind of setting and something that complimented me supportive-wise. Not to say Rick Ross and Juelz didn't, hip-hop's so sensitive that you have to do a disclaimer for everything you say. And this project, Loso's Way, I also wanted to do a show with a band...Some hip-hop acts need to try that as well, 'cause it's really instrumental...I just wanted to do something different, so I'm not gonna be on that tour, but look for me to be out on the road late July." The rapper was recently featured on Jay-Z's summer tour.
Fabolous will embark on a radio promo tour in July and open for Jay-Z on seven dates during his tour. In August, he'll begin an official small-venue tour. Additionally, he will release the follow-up club single "Everyday, Everything, Everywhere," featuring Ryan Leslie and Keri Hilson, before the album's release, as well as the Loso's Way DVD, a movie about his struggles to succeed, which will be packaged with the album.
