Rick Ross has confirmed recent reports that he was banned from Bermuda and explained his confusion about the British territory's decision to refuse his entrance.
Speaking with radio personalities On-Air Idiots, the "Boss" also said he has never been to Bermuda despite being banned.
"I don't even know man, I ain't even look into it," Ross said about being banned. "I'm focused on other things but I got news of it...We going out the country to other spots so maybe Bermuda something special maybe. I don't know, y'all let me know. We going over UK, we going to Germany, we going to a few other spots so it's all good. I never been there, so maybe, I don't know. I had a great time in Dubai, they welcomed me there, you know, I spent some good money over there and we had a wonderful time so maybe Bermuda is even more special than that. We gotta look into it. I've never been there though." (On-Air Idiots)
Reports of Ross being restricted from the country landed online over the weekend.
Bermuda's immigration minister David Burch refused to allow Ross enter the country because there were concerns the rapper did not "possess good character and conduct". The concert's promoter, Kendricks Zuill, said the minister decision has disappointed fans and has cost him thousands of dollars. (The Royal Gazette)
Fabolous recently informed SOHH about his decision to not join Ross and Juelz Santana for a summer tour.
"The thing with the Rick Ross tour, I think it was like a two-week run and I felt like I just wanted to go a different way," Fab explained. "I didn't really want to do an arena tour or any kind of mixture of that. I wanna do something more intimate, you know, House of Blues type of setting , theater kind of setting and something that complimented me supportive-wise. Not to say Rick Ross and Juelz didn't, hip-hop's so sensitive that you have to do a disclaimer for everything you say. And this project, Loso's Way, I also wanted to do a show with a band...Some hip-hop acts need to try that as well, 'cause it's really instrumental...I just wanted to do something different, so I'm not gonna be on that tour, but look for me to be out on the road late July." (SOHH)
Reports broke out earlier this year of the trio kicking-off a nationwide run together.
Three Def Jam all-stars are coming to a city near you this summer. Rick Ross, Fabolous, and Juelz Santana will kick off a joint tour in July, Rap-Up.com can exclusively report. Dates for the national outing have yet to be announced, but this is shaping up to be one of the season's hottest tickets. This is not the first time the trio has worked together. All three rappers collaborated on The-Dream's remix to 'Rockin' That Thang.' (Rap-Up)
