Jay-Z has reportedly linked with director Spike Lee to shoot a series of Rocawear Clothing's 10th Anniversary commercials.

Reports of the two's partnership landed online Tuesday (August 4) after being spotted together with a film crew in Brooklyn, New York.

Stylist June Ambrose also confirmed the shoot earlier today via Twitter.

Aside from films, Lee has been known to work closely with artists and athletes including Q-Tip and rapper/NBA star Kobe Bryant.

Lee's current round ball film is "Kobe Doin' Work," a documentary of one game in the life of Kobe Bryant. Inspired by the 2006 soccer film "Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait," Lee used 30 cameras to capture Bryant's every move in a game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the San Antonio Spurs on April 13, 2008. Bryant later recorded a commentary for the film, describing his thought process behind every shot, every screen, every pass. As it happened, Bryant laid down the commentary just hours after scoring 61 against Lee's beloved New York Knicks in February. (MSNBC)

Jay's Rocawear clothing line was recently approved for a global expansion into Greater China.

Iconix China has signed an expansion deal for its Rocawear brand, which was co-founded by rapper Jay-Z, in Greater China with Bosideng International Holdings. Bosideng will manufacture and distribute Rocawear men's and women's products from Spring 2010. It plans to open over 300 Rocawear free-standing stores and shop-in-shop concepts within the next three years. (Just Style)
