Fabolous' concert last night (August 23) reportedly ended with a man and woman being shot and rushed to a nearby hospital following the rapper's Pennsylvania venue.
While F-a-b-o's performance had already ended, the shooting took place shortly afterward in the parking lot.
A man and a woman were shot outside Crocodile Rock Cafe on Hamilton Street in downtown Allentown early this morning following a rap concert, according to city police. The shooting occurred in Crocodile Rock's parking lot off S. Sixth Street around 2:30 a.m. and the two people who were shot were taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest by ambulance, said Allentown Capt. Dean Schwartz. Schwartz said the investigation into the shooting continues. (Allentown Morning Call)
Details on the injuries have also been revealed.
The victims were shot just before 2:30 a.m. at a parking lot off of 6th and Type Streets, just south of Hamilton Street. The man had been shot in his face, and the woman suffered a bullet wound to her arm, according to investigators. (WFMZ)
The venue has previously had violence erupt there in the past, most notably around 2006.
This is the second time violence has erupted at the Crocodile Rock Cafe. In 2006, four people were in need of medical care after a fight broke out when rapper Juelz Santana canceled his set. (Singers Room)
