Drake has announced plans to re-release his So Far Gone mixtape and said there would be an unreleased track which will help transition fans to his upcoming Thank Me Later debut.
Setting the re-release for a September 15th drop date, Drizzy revealed a new song which will be on the 'tape called "Fear."
"I did this song that no one has ever heard before, ever," he revealed in an interview. "[It's] a song called 'Fear.' I recorded it when I did So Far Gone -- the first verse and half of the second verse I had gotten through. But then I just stopped because it was getting eerie. It was getting where I didn't know if I could [finish it]. And then the other night I had a moment and I finished the song. That's gonna be the last song on the retail [version of] So Far Gone. And the third verse transitions into Thank Me Later. So the last line of the third verse is gonna be the first line on my album." (MTV)
The rapper's So Far Gone mixtape featured mainstream artist collaborations including verses from Lil Wayne and Trey Songz.

Despite his recent success, Drizzy recently inked a personal message to fans assuring them of his humble attitude within the rap spotlight.
"I will forever push myself beyond the limits despite advice and recommendations given because even with this new found success I am still the kid who wanted this more than anything in the world," he wrote in his blog earlier this month. "Its funny when I read comments from previous fans who have lost interest because of the radio play and exposure I have. I just want to assure anyone reading that nothing has changed on my end. I refuse to get comfortable, I refuse to fall in line and follow anyone elses formulas. I still work as if So Far Gone had never dropped and I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to gain entry to this game." (October's Very Own)
His debut project will reportedly drop next February.
"I'm about two songs in," Drizzy said in an interview last month about his progress. "I really haven't even started. The tour is really throwing me off, so I probably won't start really working on it until September. It will probably come out Valentine's Day next year." (The Boom Box)
