DJ Kay Slay, known for his "Drama Hour" beef-based radio show, recently spoke on The Game's taunts towards Jay-Z and said homage should first be paid to the hip-hop mogul.

Slay questioned The Game's disses toward Jay, even though, he said, he and Jay-Z never had a great working relationship.

"I respect the Game, like he's a real good friend of mine and me and Jay-Z never really seen eye-to-eye, but what I am gonna say is I think Jay-Z deserves a little more respect for as long as he's been in the game," Slay said in an interview. "And Game, he [should] just chill for a second. I really don't think he fired at him hard enough for him to be going as hard as he's going but then again, Game is a man. He's gonna do what he's gotta do. But me, I just think that, you gotta be on that individual level to go at him. And I don't think Game has reached that yet." (On-Air Idiots)

Slay is most known for analyzing hip-hop beefs and battles during his famed "Drama Hour" on New York City's Hot 97 radio station.

Known as the Drama King (aka Slap Your Favorite DJ), DJ Kay Slay rose to the top of his field by refereeing some of the most talked-about MC battles of the early 2000s, most notably Jay-Z versus Nas and 50 Cent versus Ja Rule, on his Streetsweeper mixtape series and later on his Hot 97 radio show, "The Drama Hour." Game shouted out Kay Slay on his Jay-Z diss song, "I'm So Wavy."

"DJs go in, DJs go in," he said at the end of the song. "Funk Flex, you my n*gga. Clue, what up? DJ Enuff. I know y'all can't play this sh*t. It's too wavy. And Jay your boy, it's all good though, y'all still my n*gga. DJ Drama, Kay Slay, lock in." ("I'm So Wavy")

Other deejays including DJ Green Lantern have weighed in on The Game's publicized taunts.

"When you say somebody's name, be prepared for anything to happen," Lantern said in an interview. "So Jay was probably like 'Whatever,' felt like saying his name and Game was like, 'He said my name, I'm going in.' So it is what it is. I'm not surprised at all by any of it. I'm quietly entertained on the sideline, that's pretty much it. I heard [the diss]. Game goes hard and that's all, you know, Game goes hard like intensely hard. But that guy Jay-Z, if he puts his mind to you, it's gonna be something. It'll be interesting to see how that's gonna play out. I scratched my head on some Amber Rose line, Kanye's girl, the line in the record, but, that's Game, man. Game is a savage, an animal. He's just gonna spray the whole parking lot...It is what it is, these are two grown men that make way more than me so big up to both of them, put your gloves on and just keep it in the ring..I don't think none of that is violence at all. But you never know." (Vlad TV)
