Juelz Santana recently spoke on his forthcoming Reagan Era mixtape and why his long-awaited sophomore Def Jam project has not yet hit shelves.

In addition to speaking on his new projects, Santana also hinted at a few collaborations he has on deck.

"The Reagan Era, the long-awaited, a lot of people have been looking for that solo mixtape," Santana said on 106th & Park. "I'ma do a video for every song on my mixtape. I'm just gearing up for my album which is titled Born To Lose, Built To Win. It's on Def Jam Records. It's gonna be classical, monumental, so right now I'm getting the ball rolling. I don't believe in just dropping one record and the fans, even though they know me and they know who I am, I've been away for a little while so I need them to get used to me again, know what I'm doing, ya dig what I'm saying? So we're gettin' the ball rolling, we're rocking and rolling, just featured on Lloyd's first single. About to go work with someone else in L.A., don't know if I can spill the beans on that. A big Def Jam artist, so, Born To Win, Built To Lose is the album, we still don't got a date yet." ("106th & Park")

He also spoke about his collaboration project with Lil Wayne earlier this year.

"The sh*t with me and Weezy, bottom line is we still got records done, a bunch of records," Santana explained in an interview. "We did a lot of records, a lot of politics and bullsh*t promotin' the album, promotin' the album. His album came out and he wound up going through the roof with everything so it's still a lot of politics. Couple records got leaked a few weeks ago, that just goes to show people we been had records already, those were like a year and a half old. We got about 25 records just sitting in the computer. Hopefully, we can put the album out the right way through a major label but if not, f*ck it, we gonna give the streets what they want. The music is done. So they gonna get it one way or another because it's not like we gotta go in the studio and record." (Forbez DVD)

The rapper previously blamed Cam'ron for his rap absence and delayed projects.

"I'm with whatever man," he said regarding a reunion with the Dipset leader. "I'm good. I can do me now so it ain't like if we was to do an album together, I can handle my business the way I wanna handle my business so I'm cool with anything. Ya dig? He ain't physically harm me, he ain't do nothing to me in that sense. Now I'm out, I'm free, I ain't got time to dwell on that bullsh*t...The album [with Wayne] is done. We got over like 45 records done, we was just waiting, like I said, even with the situation that I was in, that was kinda like affecting that from going down too. There's gonna be a lot of things happening and that's definitely one of 'em." (SmackTube)

He also made headlines last month after saying Jay-Z was responsible for Chris Brown's no-show at the BET Awards 2009 ceremony.

"i take nothin away from Jay-Z," he wrote via Twitter. "i dont wanna sound like a Hater but his swagger was on Zero yesterday. & i just heard thru the grape vine that Jay-Z said he would not Perform if Chris Brown was gonna perform.. SMH Sucker Move I woulda rather seen Chris Brown come out & do his tribute to [Michael Jackson]. It woulda been the 1st time he Performed since ? I know he woulda Killed it. ok Tweople. Yall do the Math. MJ just died the show as a Tribute to MJ. so not only does he say he down want chris to perform & do what would of been probably the best MJ tribute, but he coulda atleast did H-to tha IZOO cuz it has the MJ beat and Put MJ's name in it."
