Def Jam rappers Rick Ross, Fabolous and Juelz Santana have reportedly joined forces for a summer tour set to begin next month.
While details are still scarce, the threesome's nationwide run has been confirmed.
Three Def Jam all-stars are coming to a city near you this summer. Rick Ross, Fabolous, and Juelz Santana will kick off a joint tour in July, Rap-Up.com can exclusively report. Dates for the national outing have yet to be announced, but this is shaping up to be one of the season's hottest tickets. This is not the first time the trio has worked together. All three rappers collaborated on The-Dream's remix to 'Rockin' That Thang.' (Rap-Up)
Lil Wayne and rap newcomer Drake will also be hitting the road the same month.
We have learned that as of right now it is only Lil Wayne and Drake on the tour, no word on Jay-Z and Young Jeezy who were rumored to be joining as well. We also learned that the tour will begin in July this summer. No dates and venues have been announced but we can expect those soon. This information has been confirmed by Wayne's manager Cortez Bryant. We will be keeping you up-to-date on any news regarding the tour, as well as posting dates as they become available. Keep checking back. (New Lil Wayne)
Both Jay-Z and Young Jeezy are reportedly in talks to kick-off summer tours.
"God willing, if everything goes according to plan and everybody's schedule is in place, then I will be on tour with some amazing people," Drake said in an interview. "One of them being Jay-Z, one of them being Lil Wayne, one of them being Young Jeezy and one of them being me." (Much Music)
Aside from the tour, Fab is prepping for the release of Loso's Way which is set to drop later this month.
"The album is coming June 30th," Fab announced in a video. "I've been holding the date for a little while just because I wanted to keep y'all just asking me. But now I gave y'all an answer. June 30th, Loso's Way will be in stores. Classic Fabolous album, it's not the best album of the year. It's one of the best album, nah, I'm just gonna go ahead and say it's the best. I don't know what's coming after me but what I've heard before, I'm gonna say my album is the best album coming out. So make sure you go get that and become a part of this, MyFabolousLife. We also have four trailer videos we're gonna release each week until the album comes out. So look for the first trailer which is probably gonna be called 'Toast to the Good Life,' and that should be out the first week of June. I will be in a lot of y'all cities for your Summer Jams or your summer shows this June." (MyFabolousLife)
No further tour information has been released as of today (June 2).
