Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West has announced plans to hit the road with singer Lady Gaga this summer.

While keeping details to a minimum, Yeezy confirmed the duo would share the stage together.

As if there weren't enough awesome concerts this summer, Kanye West has just announced that he's going on tour with the new princess of pop, Lady Gaga. Kanye was a guest on "The View" this afternoon where he dished on his summer plans. He said, "Me and Lady GaGa are going on tour now. She's talented and she's so incredible that she's not an opening act, we're doing our show together." (Holly Scoop)

Ye has recently shown his interest in Gaga both on songs and in his blog.

It's no surprise that Kanye is a fan of Lady Gaga, who fronted Rolling Stone's annual Hot Issue. West recently interpolated Gaga's "Poker Face" hit into the Kid Cudi track "I Make Her Say" or "I Poke Her Face" as the kids on the streets call it. Kanye has even gone as far as saying Gaga is this generation's Madonna. Kanye is also no stranger to recruiting the top talent on the charts to join him on tour, as his epic Glow In The Dark tour last year featured Rihanna, Chris Brown, N.E.R.D. and Lupe Fiasco. Aside from touring, Ye is reportedly working on his new rap album.

"I'm always working, just talking to people like I've already got some lines that might make it to the album just from having a conversation," Ye said in an interview. "I haven't written down lyrics in like six years, but as far as rapping goes though, uh, how do we word this? [Michael] Jordan, Michael Jackson of it, that's what I do. It's time for me to bust another rap album... I kill that rap sh*t, that's what I do. I'm working on stuff, lyrics right now and they're awes-mazing, they're basically untouchable and I'm about to take it to a whole 'nother level and I would be scared if I was not me." (MTV)

He is also reportedly producing tracks for both Jay-Z and Soulja Boy Tell Em.

"I know a million producers that are no-names, but they got hot beats," Soulja Boy said in a recent interview. "I will be going back in the lab to produce beats on this album, I really haven't produced since my second album, but I'm looking forward to doing a 50/50 split beat with Kanye West. I think that'll be hot because he's a great lyricist, but an awesome producer as well. I feel like I'm an awesome producer too, and both of us in the studio together at the same time can come out with a smash." (Radio Planet TV)

No further information on the tour has been announced as of today (June 10).
