News: Xzibit's Tax Records Leak Online, Rapper Owes $500K

Rap veteran Xzibit's tax records have reportedly leaked online displaying various financial debts including $501,840 he owes in federal taxes.
The rapper-turned-actor's financial records were released today (April 16).
The government says Xzibit, a double-threat Detroit-born rapper/actor who hosted "Pimp My Ride" on MTV, owes $501,840 in federal taxes. He has gone on to star in a string of movies to a onetime Broadway star who has tax liens totaling more than $350,000. The IRS filed a $205,485 lien on February 4 in the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds office. On April 17, 2008, the IRS had filed a $296,355 lien. (Detroit News)
Despite the alleged financial crunch, X is currently offering $10,000 to fans willing to follow him via his Twitter account.
Xzibit will be giving away $10Gs to his Twitter followers, specifically, five stacks will go to his 500,000th follower and the other $5Gs will be awarded to some other follower chosen at random. Method Man's tax problems recently emerged last month.
The repo man got Method Man. The state Department of Taxation seized a 2008 Lincoln Navigator belonging to the rapper and member of the Wu-Tang Clan, who failed to pay $52,503 in personal income taxes. The luxury SUV was taken at 6 a.m. Wednesday (March 18) from Method Man's Staten Island, New York home. (New York Post)
Fellow New Yorker Lil Kim also had her tax information leaked online.
Kim has $979,090 in tax debt. The state of New York filed a $12,599 tax warrant on April 26, 2008, in the New York County Clerk's office. The IRS filed a $50,464 lien on Sept. 5, 2007, in the Bergen (N.J.) County Clerk's office. The IRS filed a $67,509 lien on May 14, 2007, in Bergen County. The state of California filed a $4,089 lien on Sept. 16, 2005, in Sacramento County Court. The IRS filed a $232,348 lien on Aug. 16, 2005, in New Jersey. The state of New Jersey filed a $51,471 lien on Aug. 11, 2005, in New Jersey State Superior Court. The state of New Jersey filed a $77,939 lien on Dec. 9, 2004, in New Jersey Superior Court.
