The Lox's Sheek Louch has responded to recent disses made by former D-Block member J-Hood and claimed the rapper's "beef" is pointless now.
Sheek also described the last time he heard about Hood and why he would never do business with him again.
"Last time somebody had called me, he got knocked out on stage in Connecticut," Sheek explained in an interview. "I done got e-mails saying let's piece this sh*t up, let's do this and that, fam, we not thinkin' about you...We heard your diss records, we heard you for months and years straight about it, we really don't care about your diss records...I guarantee the people in his camp are saying, 'D*mn, we dissed him, now what do we do?' Where's these records? You gotta come now. Even the 50 Cent sh*t, when we was going at 50, it's over...I loved him as a brother but it's over. He crossed that line and now I don't care about him. I will never work with him." (Hip Hop Beef)
J-Hood has recently been making his rounds calling out a handful of rappers including Slaughterhouse's Joe Budden and Royce Da 5'9 along with Lox.
"Out with the old, in with the new," Hood said in a recent video clip. "Talking greasy about your boy man, Joe Buddens and that Royce Da 5'6 n*gga on stage at S.O.B.'s performing that wack a** sh*t...You feel a way about what I'm saying at you, get at me. I hit you on MySpace, I told you you was p*ssy and you wanna get at me directly, you wrote me back with the paragraph...Shout-out to Styles, man...the other n*gga though, go apply for a security position. Rappin' ain't for you. As far as Jadakiss goes, you shouldn't have never said my name, man...If you wanna see me in the streets, you know the hand skills are ready." (Trilla DVD)
The rapper's words reportedly caught the attention of Royce who released "Hottest in the Hood" shortly afterward.
"Your nose in the shotgun like J-Hood," Royce rapped. "Speaking of him, he's a bum/Hundred rounds, hundred pounds of punks get done/Rap n*gga rappin' his way to his demise/I ain't Ransom, chump, I don't shoot in the sky...J-Hood, you lunch/Lil five foot n*gga type you could rob at punch point/Ha, laugh at you, ain't got the heart to pull a piece and blast you/Smaller than my niece...For the cake, I'll battle a savage/F*ck a cop, show me the green I'll bring malice." ("Hottest in the Hood")
Hood's departure from D-Block took place nearly two years ago.
In 2007 a disgruntled J-Hood was seen on a YouTube video dragging his D-Block chain on the concrete and disrespecting LOX member Sheek Louch, referring to him as "Cheek Louch." To make matters worse Hood then appeared on stage with then rival 50 Cent in a further attempt to voice his displeasure with D-Block Records. (XXL Mag)
