Skull Gang leader Juelz Santana has expressed his distance from Cam'ron detailing the resistance to re-join his former boss.
Speaking during an interview, Santana described his past loyalty to Cam despite any problems Killa may have had with Jim Jones.
"At the end of the day, I'm just glad people get to see the type of person, you know, I would say he really is," Juelz explained. "Because at the end of the day, you know, once again as much as he would like to say, he said a lot of things about Jim called him about this, which I really don't know about. But we all had separate relationships at the end of the day. And he has yet to still tell people what Juelz did. Let's be serious. At the end of the day, he can't look in the mirror when it comes to me 'cause he knows how loyal I was, how much of a brother I was to him. It kinda makes me feel good 'cause it lets the people know like, y'all ain't gotta ask me that question, he telling y'all. No matter what the fans want, I'm not doing it." (MTV)
While saying he's too busy in 2009, Cam recently said he would be willing to re-consider a Dipset gathering as early as next year.
"My year is booked up," Cam said in an interview. I don't have time for that. I wish them the best of luck. Maybe next year we can sit down and talk, but no time soon. Right now, I'm focused on Crime Pays and the rest of my 2009 plan." (Reuters)
Cam has publicly spoken out against Juelz, claiming Santana had an addiction to syrup-sipping in the past.
"Juelz started drinking syrup, Robitussin," Cam'ron said in an interview. "He got hooked on it, addicted to it...So I kinda stopped speaking to him...I called his closest friends about it. They knew it, knew about it. They was like, 'Yo Cam it's not that bad'...I'm like yo, that's like saying you just smoke a little bit of crack, it ain't that much crack...So that's kinda how I shot away from Juelz. It was even a point where Jim called me like, 'What's going on with you and Juelz'...I said, he's on drugs." (Miss Info)
Killa also made headlines last summer for selling Santana's contract to Def Jam Records.
Seems there is more changes happening for Harlem, New York, representatives, The Diplomats. According to a recent report, Cam'ron has sold Juelz Santana's contract with them, to Def Jam Records for a cool $2 million. Juelz was asked by Miss Info about his move to Def Jam and he responded, "Yeah, I'm free!! And ready to do me!! But its still Dip Set 4 life!! Its just going to be a new chapter!!" (Def Sounds)
