Hot off the Press This Week Beyonce gets played like Ashlee Simpson, Mike Tyson weighs in on Chris Brown's knockout punch, Brandy wants Ray J to be down with Keyshia Cole and Kim Kardashian says her a** ain't that fat.

Ring The (False) Alarm

Howard Stern set off Beyonce stans across the world by playing what he claimed what as unedited sound board recording of Beyonce performing on the Today show last year that was so bad it'd be an understatement to call them unflattering. [Listen Here].

At a press junket for her film Obsessed Wednesday Bey claimed she hadn't heard the recording, but said the story "sounds completely ridiculous" but struck back by saying whoever tried to set her actually laid the groundwork to help her push public appearances this week.

"Everyone's heard me sing and it's perfect timing, actually, because I'll be on the "Today" show tomorrow singing 'Halo,' or tonight you can watch me sing live on David Letterman!" she told MTV News. "It's perfect promotion, whoever came up with that idea."

Her manager pops, Mathew Knowles also sprang to her defense, claiming the tape was "obviously altered."

"If no one took the time to look at the biggest Inauguration in the history of America then shame on them," he wrote. "If no one took the time to listen to Beyoncé sing 'America the Beautiful' and 'At Last' at the Neighborhood Ball for the first dance of President Obama and the First Lady, and they question Beyoncé's vocal ability, they've gotta be an idiot," he said in a statement. "At 12 years into her career, the last thing someone should be questioning is her vocal ability. That would be like questioning if Kobe Bryant could shoot a jump shot."

And with the jig apparently up, the guilty party behind the tape 'fessed up that the recording was a fake, telling "No one in their right mind would sound like that -- and no one would cheer for someone singing like that."

Rebel Talking ... Let me get this straight. Beyonce called this "perfect promotion," plugged her upcoming film, then her pops sent out a statement listing her resume. Hmmm... interesting that TMZ caught the person responsible but didn't release a name. Beyonce might be the only one Obsessed enough with Beyonce to pull off such a hoax. Score another one for Knowles.

For The Love of Ray J

R&B singer Brandy chopped it up with Atlanta radio host Mami Chula recently about her wild and crazy younger brother Ray J denying any romance between the "Sexy Can I" singer and the much older Whitney Houston despite their frequent affectionate public appearances.

"He makes it look like it, but he's not dating her. Sometimes I just want to strangle him, Ray what are you doing? You're not dating Whitney, but everyone thinks you are." When Mami Chula pointed out that Ray doesn't deny involvement with Houston Brandy shut her down with, "I'm saying no, as his big sister."
Brandy was also very vocal about who she'd actually like to see her little brother boo'd up with stating, "You know who I really like for Ray J? I would love to see Ray J with Keyshia Cole. She would balance him out. She won't take anything off him, Ray would have to really settle and step up his game. I'm serious. I would love that. I don't know if she's with someone. Keyshia Cole is a nice girl. She is so talented and so sweet and humble and down to earth and I would love to see her at Thanksgiving and Christmas."

Rebel Talking ... I could see that match - they both sing and have successful reality shows, but Brandy - you realize you'd also be seeing Frankie, Neffe and all Neffe's kids at Thanksgiving and Christmas right? You might wanna "Man Down" on that wishful thinking of yours.

Meanwhile this week Ray J's ex-girl and sex tape starlet Kim Kardashian got all huffy over an US Weekly clip about Forever 21's new plus size line and immediately made a public statement to declare her ASSets petite:

"I feel that this clipping from Us Magazine is a bit misleading, so I wanted to comment on it. I am a huge fan of Forever 21 and I'm very happy they have expanded their line to include a plus-size range, but I am not in that size category and this article makes it sound like I am! I am a curvy girl and I love my curves, but curvy and plus-sized are two very different things.

I work really hard to maintain my curves while staying slim and healthy, so to be classed as a "fuller-figured woman" of extra large proportions is a little offensive. For the record, I am a size 2, not 2XL."

Rebel Talking ... Dear Kim, that fat ass gets you paid, take notes from J. Lo, don't rock the boat by pissing off the people who love you for your curves and they will keep you paid enough for those size 2 dresses too expensive for Forever 21 to carry.

1st Wife(Beater)s Club

As the current subject of the Tyson documentary, former heavyweight champ, convicted rapist and Robin Givens assailant, Mike Tyson was bound to run into some questions regarding Chris Brown's current bout. Check out what he told MTV News about the situation.:

"It's none of my business but I understand the situation. I understand passion with young kids. My personal opinion? He's just a baby, he's just a little baby who doesn't know how to handle his emotions when it comes to a woman," Tyson said of Brown.

"We look at this person we might be crazily in love and we might not and we don't know how to handle those feelings. Most people who are 40 don't know how to handle their feelings, they kill their wives," Mike continued.

"Still you can't abuse them, it's really sick what you do. Do you wanna beat your girlfriend up? No. Do you get angry at your girlfriend? Yes. Why do you get angry? She has a space in your heart and has invaded your mind and you believe you care about her more than anyone else in the world and I can do things to her no one else can and it's really complex human beings... Do I think it's right to beat up on a woman? No. Hell No. Have I violated and hit a woman? Hell yeah. Was it wrong? Hell yeah, but I'm a product of my environment. Do I regret doing it? Hell yeah. Will I ever do it again? Never ever do it again."

Rebel Talking ... A baby Tyson? Well I guess it takes one to know one. Chris, about half of what Mike is saying makes sense, but I wouldn't recommend you taking advice from this guy. On another note, KILL THEIR WIVES? Uh Mike, is there a body out there we should know about?

But while you were learning more about Day 26's freaky ways than you'd ever care to know, we were wondering how long until we find out if Jennifer Hudson is really knocked up and hoping Michael Jackson can make it through his Summer tour.
