Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's Stanley "Flesh-n-Bone" Howse was ordered to remain behind bars after appearing in court today (April 16) on felony gun charges.

Appearing in a California court, Flesh's attorney presented additional information forcing today's hearing into next week.

He remains in custody after a preliminary hearing was continued to Monday (April 20). Howse made an appearance in Superior Court today, where his defense attorney presented information that required further investigation, according to Jane Robison, spokeswoman for the District Attorney's office. He remains in custody at Twin Towers Correctional Facility in downtown Los Angeles. (KHTS News)

Flesh's attorney, Shepard Kopp, appeared in court earlier this month saying the gun his client was arrested with belonged to his wife.

"The gun was found in a closet inside a locked suitcase," Kopp said in a statement. "The gun belongs to Mr. Howse's wife Isabel Flores, who is a Chicago Police Officer." Howse's wife is on leave from the Chicago Police Department, Kopp said. He said the firearm is registered and Howse told deputies at the time of the arrest that the gun belonged to Flores and she was a police officer. (The Signal)

A rep for the rapper previously informed SOHH about the lack of details originally being reported to the public.

"At this time all the facts have not been revealed publicly, however I can assure you 100 percent that Mr. Howse has not walked backwards," the rep wrote. "We live in a great American country where one is innocent until proven guilty." (Statement)

Flesh was arrested April 2 in California.

Flesh-n-Bone was arrested yesterday evening in Santa Clarita, Calif. for gun possession. Police say they discovered a gun in Flesh-n-Bone's car, real name Stanley Howse, and took him into custody for gun possession. According to sheriff's information, he is being held without bail and is currently still in the slammer. He is due in court on Monday, April 6. (TMZ)
