Grammy-winning rapper Eminem is reportedly being scheduled to appear on the popular late night show "Jimmy Kimmel Live" three times next month.
While the rapper's camp has yet to confirm, Em's appearance dates have reportedly leaked online.
Eminem will make three appearances on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" this May. The notoriously press-shy rapper will return to the late-night show three times in May. Once on Friday, May 15, a second time on his album release day, Tuesday, May 19 and again on Friday, May 22. (Rap-Up)
Less than a month away from Relapse hitting shelves, Em's alleged cover art has also hit the Internet.
As you can see, it's a composite image of Marshall Mathers' face made out of various pills, featuring an Rx label that reads "Prescribed by Dr. Dre." (Glad to hear that he's still covered by Mr. Mathers' health plan!) I'd be remiss not to note the eerie resemblance between this visual and the Eminem-in-M&M's objet d'art that Ripley's Believe it or Not! purchased last fall. Coincidence? You decide. Aside from his appearance alongside Kimmel, Em will also hit the stage at this year's "MTV Movie Awards."
Eminem has been tapped to perform "We Made You" at the 2009 "MTV Movie Awards," airing live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, on Sunday, May 31, at 9 p.m. ET. Andy Samberg will host. Viewers may vote online and on their mobile phones to select the nominees for the 18th annual Movie Awards. (MTV)
The rapper recently discussed the sound of his new solo project.
"Dre produced most of the album, basically all of the album except for maybe one or two songs," Em said in an interview. "It was great, we got in there. We were looking for this song for a long time, you know, and finally one day it just hit us. We got the record, went in and made it and Dre just put his touches on it, made everything bigger, had the rhyme and it was, you know, that's basically it." (Rap Radar)
Relapse is scheduled to hit store shelves Tuesday, May 19 via Interescope.
