In the ongoing battle with 50 Cent, Rick Ross has released another song called "In Cold Blood" as the release date for his Deeper Than Rap album has reportedly been pushed back.

The rapper's new song is showcased in a video as Ross performs in a record shop and also shows his forthcoming album's release date changed to April 21, 2009.

"Wack [Tony] Yayo slipping while he snortin' dust," Ross raps in the video. "Cold blood bullet hit him like a tour bus...I'm addicted to watches, momma tell him to stop it/ Got on over 50, 50 you better watch it/ Do him in cold blood, look him in his eyes/ may do him with no gloves." (You Tube)

In addition to his song, Ross has recorded a music video for the diss track, "Push Em."

"Never measure a man by his money but by his moves, monkey," Ross says in the track's intro. "Get money, homicide is what it come with/We the killers motherf*cker who you gon get/I handle homos, solo/So smooth, not a wrinkle in my Polo/D*mn you ratted on 'Preme/d*mn near ratted on Queens/Don't a motherf*cker love you/It's hard to find out that your father was your uncle/This snitch infested with incest/Sold ten mil, still ain't in the ten best." He recently spoke with radio personality KiKi on his rap beef with 50.

"If you ain't bringing no money to the table for other entrepreneurs to eat, just eliminate yourself," Ross said. "He done threatened every rapper in New York and coincidentally never bumped into anybody. So no body takes his threats serious. He's a female, but other than that, I like to keep the focus on the music and on the business. Me personally, I'm not emotional. I don't have any personal feelings about no body that don't sit at the table and eat with me at night." (100.3 The Beat)

Ross has recently began regularly recording videos going at G-Unit, including last Friday's clip where he introduced a cake-made version of himself.

"This is the Boss right here, part two," he says in the clip pointing out the Ross cake. "It's little Ross. Feel me? I know what y'all wanna do to me out there. Y'all wanna take my head off, huh...Spin n*ggas heads around? Well look at it, it's the closest you'll ever get to it...How many records Deeper Than Rap gonna sell...We laughin' at these n*ggas. We selling millions....Mon-key. Mon-keeey. Go buy the album, mon-keey." (This Is Sabrinas Sin)

While drawing a thin line between lyricism and Internet antics, Ross claims he has used the battle as a means of showing his emcee skills are better than Fif's.

"My freestyles as you could hear them, 'Kiss My Pinky Ring,' I do them in 20 minutes and put them out there," he said in an interview. "Those crumble empires. People listening to how potent the music is. That's all this really is for me. I'm not really excited yet. All this is a platform for me to show people how talented I am. How much better of a lyricist I am. So if [50] sold 10 [million], my next album should sell 12." (MTV News)
