Hot Press: Hot Press: Chris & Rihanna Do A Duet, The Dream Defends His Girl and Nivea Dishes On Divorce
Thursday, Mar 12, 2009 11:00AM
Hot off the press this week, Chris Brown and Rihanna work it out on wax, the "other woman" is revealed, The-Dream don't see nothin' wrong, Nivea goes wild, and Lady Gaga's kinky creative process.
Kiss Kiss, Tsk Tsk
Chris Brown and Rihanna are not only back together, the reconciled duo are rumored to be working a duet that Brown is hoping to include on his new album, due out later this year, a studio source tells E! News. "They've been working on it together," the insider says. E! also reports that Polow Da Don has been holed up with them at a Santa Monica recording studio for the past several days.
Meanwhile, Rihanna producer Adonis Shropshire says the Bajan Grammy winner was also back in the studio.
"You have to remember, she's a kid still," he said. "So with anybody who goes through something in the world, you have to bring yourself out of it...I guess her refuge is her music."
TMZ vultures say Chris Brown's manager is the other woman who triggered the fight that left Rihanna battered and bruised and Chris Brown an accused felon.
Sources tell us the woman who left the three-page text message on Brown's cell phone is Tina Davis. Davis -- who turns 40 this month -- was rumored to have had a relationship with Brown when he was 16. Brown and Davis have denied it. Law enforcement tells us the text message to Brown talked about hooking up later -- and it totally pissed off Rihanna. She slapped and hit him and he then brutally fired back.
The detective's affidavit refers to the text message as being "from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with."
Rebel Talking... And the plot thickens. But I think I'm going to be sick. If this is true I'm gonna have to re-dub Breezy's manager Tina "R.Kelly" Davis.
The-Dream had quite the interview with RapRadar.com this week, first homeboy told them he got trim thanks to tantric sex.
"I lost about 20 pounds. Just keep having sex three hours at a time."
Then he spoke about his girlfriend, Radio Killa artist Christina Milian's new blonde look that nobody but him seems to like:
"I don't get it! Me and her had this conversation, 'Like what the hell are they looking at? Like, maybe it's something wrong with they computer screen and maybe Rasputia comes up every time they looking at you,' cause I don't know, I have no idea. Like, I think something is wrong. When we go out the country they go crazy [for her]. I get back here, I read a blog-- it makes no sense...That shit look good to me."
Dream went on to say he may not work with Usher and Johnta Austin again if Christina feels a certain way about them dissing her on video and that he's not even aware of Milian's prior relationship with Nick Cannon. Huh?
Rebel Talking... Can somebody please wake The-Dream? This dude is completely out of it.
NUTS about Nivea
Aside from the occasional photograph alongside Lil Wayne we haven't seen much of The-Dream's ex-wife Nivea in recent years. Late last week the singer emerged in a video interview with Rolling Out that has me crossing my fingers for a repeat performance very soon.
Asked what's been keeping her out of the limelight, the Atlanta artist literally SANG, "I've been poppin them babies ooout," before revealing, "I had my daughter in 2005 and eleven months later had twin boys in 2006."
Nivea also dropped the bombshell that her divorce with The-Dream wasn't mutual, as previously reported.
"Actually we sposed to say that's but it not true, he wanted to do it I didn't but it's done and I'm dealing with it. People are trippin out, cuz they didn't know I'd tell the truth. It just comes a time in your life when you battle back and forth. I tried my best but sometimes when it's not working it's better to be friend and be parents to your children and not force something that isn't there. How about that for a basket of cherry red apples, throw some grapes in there and one banana."
Rebel Talking... I'll take one of whatever she's having! Okay so she's a little eccentric, but the woman has been cooped up with infants with nobody but Lil Wayne to keep her company, what else do you expect.
Sex Ed for Songwriters
Blender.com interviewed Lady Gaga this week and when asked about her creative process the singer proved she has quite the way around analogies:
"Writing a record is like dating a few men at once. You take them to the same restaurants to see if they measure up, and at some point you decide who you like best. When you make music or write or create, it's really your job to have mind-blowing, irresponsible, condomless sex with whatever idea it is you're writing about at the time."
Rebel Talking... Way to encourage the kids Gaga. I'm pretty sure Trojan and KY won't be calling her up to be a spokesperson anytime soon.
While you were watching Diddy explain to Ellen why he had Chris Brown and Rihanna at his house we were wishing Keri Hilson didn't have such good intentions and admiring the dope Erykah Badu artwork.
