Grammy-winning rapper T.I. has spoken on the alleged Chris Brown and Rihanna domestic dispute claiming he has given the male singer some inspiring advice.
The "King of the South" reportedly talked with Brown on Monday (February 9).
"Yeah, I spoke to him today," T.I. told Carson Daly in an interview on 'Last Call.' "He cool, you know. I guess he a little concerned about the situation, but he's still the same Chris...I told him this too shall pass...Hey man, you people gotta remember, we celebrities and we entertainers but we still human. All of us." (Access Hollywood).
Other Southern rappers including David Banner have also supported the R&B star.
When asked if this incident sounds like Chris Brown to him, rapper David Banner told Rolling Stone, "No, not at all. One situation doesn't define a man and I really want America to stop doing that to people. As humans, none of us is perfect." (Rolling Stone)
Some artists including The Roots' Questlove have spoken on the matter via their Twitter accounts claiming both Brown and Rihanna could bounce back from the situation.
"Face it America: Mofo's LOVE scandals..(see Kels, MJ, OJ, et al) I bet any amount of money the monetary inter$t of Chrianna will pay off," Quest wrote unmodified. "Meaning Chris just shuts up and makes music that will keep girls interested and Rihanna could easily milk this (hiding/silent/comeback)...It's sad but y'all know it's true." (Twitter)
Despite some of the speculation and rumors, images have reportedly hit the Internet showing the seriousness behind the alleged assault on Rihanna.
As we reported, the photos show major contusions on both sides of the singer's face -- there is serious swelling and bruising. Her lip is split and her nose bloody. We have now confirmed there are bite marks on one of her arms and on several fingers. And we now know this... Rihanna claims Brown struck her with his fists and that's what did the damage. There was no object used in the alleged attack. Rihanna refused treatment at the scene, but before she left cops took photos. We're told the photos alone are "devastating proof of abuse." (TMZ)
