Her manager recently said the singer would be hitting the road soon.
Manager Damien Smith claims Hudson will headline a roughly six-week run in theater-sized venues beginning in late March or early April. "Everybody stay tuned," says Smith. "You'll be seeing a lot more of her." (Hollywood Insider)
The R&B superstar won an award a Grammy this year for Best R&B Album.
One of the night's most emotional moments came early on when the award for best R&B album went to the self-titled debut by Chicago native Jennifer Hudson, who can now place the golden Gramophone next to the best supporting actress Oscar that she won for Dreamgirls. (Chicago Sun Times)
While at the ceremony, she detailed the impact of her fans' support.
"Everyone has been so supportive and it's overwhelming," Jennifer said of the outpouring of love, well wishes and condolences from those moved by the singer's family tragedy.
