Grammy-winning rappers Ludacris and Lupe Fiasco have accepted a $160,888 bid by a New Jersey school to perform at their "Spring Concert" next month.

The hip-hop duo will join other acts on stage.

The College Union Board (CUB) was awarded $160,888 by the Student Finance Board (SFB) to bid for Ludacris, singer/songwriter Jason Mraz and, as an opener, pop/techno artist Lady Gaga. According to CUB director Katerina Gkionis the decision to add Lupe Fiasco to the bill was a result of the increased Student Activities Fund (SAF). "We wanted to create a festival-type show and we think that we could definitely have that with two huge names like Ludacris and Lupe Fiasco," Gkionis said. (The Signal)

Other artists were considered prior to the board's decision.

Lupe Fiasco was one of four bands UB was considering. Ben Folds, T-Pain and Jack's Mannequin were also considered. (Den News)
