Hot Press: Rihanna Keeps Chris Brown's Love Locked Down & Kanye Wants to Pose Nude Like Aubrey O'Day

Hot off the press this week Rihanna handcuffs her man Chris Brown, Kanye wants to get naked, Jermaine Dupri 'fires' back at Def Jam and ex-Danity Kane member Aubrey celebrates being liberated.
Rihanna pumped the brakes on a potential meeting between British pop star Alexandra Burke and her "best friend" Chris Brown. Burke won the British singing competition "X Factor," in December last year and has been outspoken about crushing on Chris, so apparently Rihanna had the foresight to ask that Alexandra be kept away from an after-party following Breezy's concert at London's O2 Arena earlier this month."
Alex was mortified. She had no idea she had been banned from meeting her idol," a source told the UK's Daily Mirror. "She's a massive fan of Chris Brown - she said numerous times on "The X Factor" how much she fancies him and wants to meet him. Since she and Chris are both with Sony, she asked label bosses if they could arrange for her to meet him at the after-party. They said that was fine, they would sort it out."
"Poor Alex was so excited about hooking up with Chris that she was even thinking of entering a radio competition to meet him."
Rebel Talking... Poor Alex my foot. You can call Rihanna a green eyed monster if you want, but I don't blame her for thinking the "X-Factor" chick sounds like a woman with a plan plotting on her man.
Short and Salty
Apparently Jermaine Dupri is not into playing coy about getting tossed from Def Jam because the former IDJ President didn't mince words about former friend and boss L.A. Reid in a recent Essence.com interview.
ESSENCE.COM: Was it an amicable parting
DUPRI: I haven't spoken to L.A. [Reid] in three months. I don't know if it's amicable [considering] that they claim they put me out. I feel like it's not amicable. Don't lie, be real about the situation. It goes back to their having the attitude of let's try and do something that's going to hurt this person, because if it hurts us we have nowhere to go after this, but he does and has at least another 20 more years in this business. Again, if L.A. [Reid] gets fired, there will be at least another ten people who will also get fired and we'll never see them again. Def Jam is like one big clique.
ESSENCE.COM: Although it's been three months since you've spoken to L.A. Reid, would you be open to reconciliation?
DUPRI: I don't know. I saw a side of him that I had never seen before and that to me was a jealous side. I don't know if I should be around people who are jealous of me. Mariah Carey sold more records in that entire Def Jam building and all of that was through my singles; so I'm looking like the golden boy. I only started thinking about it after I left.
Rebel Talking... That's just JD's napolean complex talking. Give it some time and the two "moguls" will be back to shorting artists out of their dough together in no time. Like JD's golden girl Mariah says "love takes time to heal when you're hurting so much.'
Former Danity Kane singer Aubrey O'Day has traded Bad Boy Entertainment for Playboy Magazine -- and she couldn't be happier about it, telling MTV:
"You could never imagine how empowering it is to be nude in front of cameras and have people looking at you in that way and seeing you as beautiful. A lot of the times I think I'm seen as a bad girl and I think that's because I'm so open. I mean, I think a lot of the type of way I'm portrayed in the media isn't always the way ... the way I am in my heart. And so I think that we were able to capture that. ... I think in society we tend to put ourselves in boxes and corners and restrict ourselves, and we constantly feel the need to not say this or not wear this or do that."
She continued on to say, "Taking it all off and being nude is the most natural state that you can be in, and being able to feel comfortable with that and show that sex can be beautiful, comfortable ... is going to be empowering for people."
Rebel Talking... From platinum singer to hooker with a heart of gold -- how noble of her. Please pass the tissue.
Rebel Without a PAUSE
Kanye West is setting out to break some more barriers in hip-hop, but he won't need a microphone, or clothes to do it. Speaking in the February issue of VIBE, Kanye says:
"I definitely feel, like, in the next however many years, if I work out for two months, that I'll pose naked. I break every rule and mentality of hip-hop, of black culture, of American culture."
Kanye went on to say the media gives artists like Bjork a pass but when its him, it makes headline news.
"If she wanted to pose naked, you'd (public and media) be like, 'Oh, that's Bjork.' But if I wanted to pose naked, people would draw all type of things into it".<;/blockquote>
Oh we definitely will draw all type of things into it. Kanye can't seem to catch a break though because 50 Cent recently brought attention to an old video of him explaining how he checks out gay guys for style cues.
Rebel Talking... Louis Vuitton Don coming out of the closet in 5...4...3...2...1
But while you were waiting on Ray-J to start slaying chicks on VH1 we were watching Lauryn Hill get back on the pony and getting in line early to see Beyonce, Jamie Foxx and Mary J. Blige perform for Obama's Inaugural Celebration.
