Hot off the press this week, J.Lo may be heading for divorce AGAIN and Ashanti & Nelly face the mother of wedding jitters, plus does Janet have beef with Beyonce?

(Wedding)Woe Nelly!

If we're to believe Star Magazine, rapper Nelly is ready to pop the question to Ashanti. There's just one problem. Ashanti's mother -- Tina Douglas.

'Tina sticks her nose in everything because she's also Ashanti's manager,' a source tells Star. 'She's always pushing Ashanti to make more money, to always look great. It stresses her out, and Nelly doesn't like that.'"

'Before he makes her his wife,' adds the source, 'Nelly wants to know that Ashanti can make decisions on her own.'"

Rebel Talking... I guess Ashanti better turn her Declaration into one of independence from Mom, before all that "Good Good" goes bad bad.

Adios Amigos

Those Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony divorce rumors don't seem to be going anywhere. After the pair were spotted separately sans rings two weeks ago US Weekly printed a story full of claims the couple's marriage is finito.

"They both didn't wear their rings on purpose. Nothing Jennifer does is without purpose," one source said. While another added, "He's very, very controlling of her. The skirts aren't as short. You don't see so much of that booty anymore."

Word is homeboy also picks out her clothes and monitors her phone calls.

So-called friends of the couple also blabbed that J. Lo "blames Marc for her career going down the tubes," especially since her last film, his pet project, El Cantante, only made $7.5 million. The friend adds, "Jennifer looked around and said, 'This is my life now? I'm a Long Island housewife?' She hates that everything she worked for went down the tubes."

Now the NY Daily News has reported that the pair will be divorcing right after Valentine's Day.

A source tells the paper, "Marc and Jennifer are planning on announcing their divorce right after Marc's show at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 14. Jennifer is planning on joining Marc onstage for a surprise duet. Things haven't been right for a while now, and they thought it would be a bittersweet farewell. They're definitely planning a clean break in February."

Jennifer's publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, spoke out about the Valentine's divorce piece saying "There is no merit to the article," while Marc's rep echoed "none of the rumors are true."

Rebel Talking... Do we really care if Jennifer Lopez is getting divorced for the third, or is it fourth time? Hasta la vista baby!

Marry Christmas

Christmas is always a popular time for couples, famous or otherwise, to get engaged, so it's no surprise this holiday season has generated several rumored engagements, including supermodel Gisele Bundchen's to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, singer Katy Perry to Travis McCoy and singer/songwriter Ne-Yo to longtime girlfriend/backup dancer Tenille. While Perry has outright denied New York Daily News talk of an engagement to McCoy, Brady's father has dismissed Brady/Bundchen nuptials as "rumors" and only the highly suspect Mediatakeout has confirmed that Ne-Yo put a ring on it, America's Next Top Model winner Eva Marcille is more than happy to shine the light on her love, by sharing details of her engagement to actor Lance Gross almost immediately with Essence.com:

"I was in a complete state of shock!" the 24-year-old Los Angeles native tells ESSENCE of the Christmas Eve proposal. "I cried. It was totally unexpected. I'm still in shock. I could not even sleep because I was afraid that I might wake up from the most beautiful dream ever."

Rebel Talking... Something tells me it's a "beautiful dream" for Eva and Lance that none of those other couples got engaged or felt like talking about it. Otherwise I think that Essence probably would have been coming from Ne-Yo and Tenille. Just sayin'

Diva Discipline

Janet Jackson is rumored to be fuming over Beyonce's controversial 'like the Jacksons comment' in the current issue of Elle Magazine, where she was quoted as saying:

"I grew up upper-class. Private school. My dad had a Jaguar. We're African-American, and we work together as a family, so people assume we're like the Jacksons." Adding, "I didn't have parents using me to get out of a bad situation."

If you believe the National Enquirer, sources close to Jackson say Janet is furious over the comment and is ready to set Beyonce straight.

"Janet wanted to know why Beyonce had to mention her family," the insider said. "They're not friends and barely know each other. She feels Beyonce went out of her way to tell the world she's from the upper class and the Jacksons were like a bunch of dirty gutter rats."

"Not only is Janet telling everyone who will listen that Beyonce has a lot of growing up to do and that she needs to stop trying to impress everyone, she's planning to confront Beyonce herself and read her the riot act."

If it is true, Bey's not even thinking about it. The singer is currently in St. Barth's on the vacation she told reporters she's been planning for some time:

"I'm taking the whole month off - the end of December and the first week of January. I wanna travel, I wanna relax, I wanna go to the South of France and maybe go on a boat and stay away from the cameras... You feel like you're in your own world, you feel like you're protected from everything and you're right in the middle of the ocean. It's the only time I can really relax, because then I have no excuse; I'm stuck and I have to take care of myself and eat good food... I can't escape."

Rebel Talking... Considering that Janet Jackson is famous for being SHY and PRIVATE (remember that secret marriage people?), I highly doubt she's been talking smack about Beyonce to anyone that would talk to the National Enquirer. Besides, she knows just how true it is that Joe Jackson used his children to make a fortune.
