News: Diddy's "A Raisin In The Sun" Snags Golden Globe Nom, Says Honor Is "A Dream Come True"

The TV series "A Raisin in the Sun," starring Sean "Diddy" Combs, has been nominated for a Golden Globe award.

Nominated for "Best Mini Series or Motion Picture Made For Television," the Bad Boy CEO has spoken on the excitement.

"I really did not think it could get any better," Diddy said in a statement. "First, an Emmy nomination and now a Golden Globe -- this is an incredible honor. A dream come true."

The series turned the Broadway hit into a televised showing which aired last February. Diddy portrayed the role of Walter Lee Younger in the popular production.

Also nominated for an award is mega superstar Beyonce Knowles who has received a "Best Original Song" nomination for co-writing "Once in a Lifetime" from the soundtrack to Cadillac Records.

In related news, the Online Hip-Hop Awards' winners have finally been announced with Diddy securing the "LMAO" award for his comedic blogs. His group, Danity Kane, also snagged two awards for "Artist of the Year (R&B)" and "Off the Hook Award (R&B)" with Day 26 winning "Digital Download of the Year (R&B)."
