News: Breaking: Main Suspect Indicted For Jennifer Hudson Family Murders

William Balfour, the prime suspect in the murders of Jennifer Hudson's family, was formally indicted today (December 30) in Illinois.
According to Associated Press, the 27 year-old estranged husband of Hudson's sister received his indictment Tuesday for the fatally shooting of the singer's mother, Darnell Donerson, brother Jason Hudson, and nephew Julian King.
Despite pleading not guilty, Balfour is facing first-degree murder and home invasion charges and his defense attorney, Joshua Kutnick, has requested his client be moved from a state prison to Cook County to make communication between the two easier.
As previously reported by SOHH, Balfour was arrested earlier this month by Chicago police and transferred to CPD custody after being served with an arrest warrant.The next hearing will take place Tuesday, January 20.
