Former couple Common and Erykah Badu will once again cross paths at the upcoming New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival this spring.
Known for recognizing contributions and the growth of jazz, this year's event will feature performances by well-known artists including Aretha Franklin, Dave Matthews Band, Tony Bennett, the Nevile Brothers and others.
Taking place on the weekends of April 24 to 26 and April 30 to May 3 at Fair Grounds Race Course, tickets will become available via NOJazzFest.com.
In related news, Common's new album Universal Mind Control hit store shelves last Tuesday (December 9) and the Chi-town rapper recently spoke with SOHH about his presence in hip-hop.
"It feels like each time there's a new album, it's a new beginning," Common told SOHH. "I think that being an artist has been a way for me to, to really fulfill some of my life's purposes and I really want to go out and make change in the world."
