Despite her new album I Am...Sasha Fierce leaking weeks before its release, Beyonce has landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 with over 483,200 sold in her opening week.
According to the Nielsen SoundScan, the superstar's latest project marks her third consecutive time coming in atop the charts. Led by mega singles like "If I Were a Boy" and "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)," the disc also features production by Rodney Jerkins and vocals by Justin Timberlake.
As previously reported by SOHH's Soulful blog, the R&B singer was recently the latest victim of a pre-album release Internet leak as various tracks from the project were spreading online earlier this month.
Making a run on his own, 112's frontman Slim also debuted his new project this week as his solo album Love's Crazy opened up at No. 32 with over 26,900 copies sold.
The album features guest apperances by Yung Joc, Faith Evans, Yung Berg and is led by his new single "Good Lovin'" with Ryan Leslie and Fabolous.
DJ Khaled's artist Ace Hood finally hit retail stores over the week as his debut album Gutta opened at No. 36 with over 24,700 units sold.
The Southern rapper packs an album filled with rap star collaborations including Trick Daddy, Plies, Akon, Rick Ross and T-Pain.
