Cypress Hill frontman B-Real is prepping the release of his upcoming solo debut Smoke N Mirrors, set to drop this winter.
Offering fans a 15-track disc, the veteran West Coast rapper has recruited a steady line-up of guest appearances including Snoop Dogg, Buckshot, Too Short, Kurupt, Damian Marley and his Cypress Hill rap partner Sen Dog, among others.
"I am excited to be putting out my first solo project," B-Real said in a statement. "It's been in the works for a while now. I want to show my fans a different side to my creative abilities including my own production."
In addition to featuring beats from producers like The Alchemist and Scoop Deville, the album will be his first official release since signing a solo deal with Duck Down Records.
"I am also excited to have teamed up with Duck Down," he added. "They have a strong team and I believe they will push my project to the fullest."
Smoke N Mirrors is currently scheduled to hit retail stores on Tuesday, February 24 via Audio Hustlaz/Duck Down Records.
In related news, the rapper has been making headlines as of lately from being among the five hip-hop acts honored at the "VH1 Hip-Hop Honors 2008" ceremony for their vision and innovation in music. The other artists honored at the event were De La Soul, Naughty By Nature, Slick Rick and Too Short.
