News: Update: Jennifer Hudson's Brother-In-Law Suspected In Mother's Murder

After yesterday's shocking report of Jennifer Hudson's
mother being brutally murdered, it has been confirmed
that the other man found dead in her house was indeed her brother. Authorities have arrested the R&B singer/actress'
brother-in-law as a prime suspect in the crime.
According to the Chicago Tribune, William Balfour was arrested Friday evening (October 24) but has yet to be charged for the murder of Hudson's 57 year-old mother, Darnell Donerson, and brother, Jason Hudson, who were both found shot to death in the family's Chicago home. Balfour married Hudson's sister, Julia, in 2006.
The singer's seven year-old nephew and Balfour's stepson, Julian King,
is currently missing and police believe the stepfather may be behind
his disappearance. The city is currently issued an Amber Alert to find
the boy.
Balfour,
who has been childhood friends with the Hudson family, reportedly has
records that show he previously pleaded guilty in 1999 to attempted
murder and vehicular hijacking, in which he served seven years behind
bars, before being released in 2006.
Despite police allegations claiming Balfour is responsible for the murder and missing nephew, his mother Michele Balfour
has denied all claims even though he is currently separated from Julia
and was thrown out of their family residence last winter.
"I didn't raise no murderer," she told Tribune. "He was not a child abductor. They have the wrong person."
